Yantian Primary School, Fenggang Town, Dongguan City, was founded in 1932 and was formerly known as Zhentian School. It is a public primary school. In 2012, it was rated as a first-level school in Dongguan City, and in 2013, it was rated as a model school for standardization of language and writing in Dongguan City.

The school covers an area of ??17,872 square meters. Currently, there are 29 classes with vacancies and 1,332 students; 86 faculty members, including 82 full-time teachers, 15 with senior primary school teacher titles, Level 1 There are 57 people with teacher titles; 56 people have a bachelor's degree, 25 people have a college degree, and 1 person has a secondary school degree. The teacher education qualification rate is 100. The school has complete hardware and facilities, including a bronze sculpture cultural corridor, campus slogans and campus bulletin boards; it is equipped with computer rooms, music rooms, sports equipment rooms, dance rooms, calligraphy rooms, broadcast rooms, lecture theaters, libraries and ecological gardens. There are 28 functional rooms.

After the Yantian Village Committee established Zhentian Primary School in 2003, Yantian Primary School’s funding was mainly met by collecting student tuition and miscellaneous fees. In 2007, after Dongguan City implemented town-level secondary school running, Yantian Primary School was transferred to the town government Pinqing Mansion to coordinate the running of schools in 2008. It specifically recruited children of Xinguan people and worked hard to solve the enrollment problem of children of Xinguan people. The school running funds were borne by the town finance. It is the only public primary school in our city that specifically recruits students from New Guan.
