The Development Course of Green Food in China

1990 in may 15, China officially announced the development of green food. The green food industry in China has experienced the following development process: putting forward the scientific concept of green food → establishing the production system and management system of green food → systematically organizing the construction and implementation of green food projects → steadily marching towards socialization, industrialization, marketization and internationalization.

The first stage, the infrastructure construction stage from the agricultural reclamation system (1990- 1993).

From 65438 to 0990, the green food project was formally implemented in the agricultural reclamation system. In the three years after the implementation of the green food project, a series of infrastructure projects have been completed, including: setting up a special agency for green food in the Ministry of Agriculture and setting up corresponding agencies in the provincial agricultural reclamation management departments; Relying on the product quality monitoring institutions of the agricultural reclamation system; Establish a green food quality monitoring system; Formulated a series of technical standards; Formulated and promulgated the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Labeling and other relevant management regulations; Registration of green food marks and trademarks; Joined the international organic agriculture movement alliance. At the same time, the development of green food has also started rapidly in some farms and made continuous progress. 1990 in the year when the green food project was implemented, 127 products in China obtained the green food mark and trademark right. From 65438 to 0993, the development of green food in China reached its first peak, and the number of new products in that year reached 2 17.

The second stage is to promote the accelerated development of the whole society (1994- 1996).

At present, the development of green food presents five characteristics: (1) The number of products has increased rapidly for two consecutive years. There are 263 new products in 1995, which is 0.07 times higher than the highest level of 1993. 1996 maintained a rapid growth momentum, with 289 new products, up 9.9% year-on-year. (2) The scale of agricultural planting has expanded rapidly. In 1995, the agricultural planting area of green food reached17 million mu, which was 3.6 times higher than that in 1994, and expanded to 32 million mu in 1996, with an increase of 88.2%. (3) Output growth exceeds product quantity. 195 The output of main products reached 265,438+10,000 tons, an increase of 203.8% over the previous year, which exceeded the product growth rate by 4.9 percentage points. 1996 reached 3.6 million tons, up by 7 1.4% year-on-year, which was 6 1.5 percentage points higher than the growth rate of product quantity, indicating that the scale of green food enterprises was constantly expanding. (4) The product structure tends to the daily consumption structure of residents. Compared with 1995, grain and oil products increased by 53.3%, aquatic products increased by 35.3%, beverage products increased by 20.8%, and livestock eggs and dairy products increased by 12.4%. (5) The development of county towns is being carried out step by step. Many counties (cities) in China rely on local resources to organize the development of green food, and establish green food production bases throughout the county, making the development of green food a characteristic and dynamic growth point of county economic development.

The third stage is to fully promote socialization, marketization and internationalization (1997- present).

The acceleration of the socialization process of green food is mainly manifested in the following aspects: governments and departments in many places in China pay more attention to the development of green food; Consumers are more and more aware of green food; News media actively publicize and report green food; The discussion of green food in theoretical and academic circles is also paying more and more attention.

The acceleration of the marketization of green food is mainly manifested in the following aspects: driven by some large enterprises, the market environment of green food is getting better and better, the market coverage is getting bigger and bigger, consumers' demand for green food is growing day by day, and the scale of product development is further expanded through the driving role of the market. The potential of green food in the international market has gradually emerged, and the products produced by green food enterprises in some areas have been exported to Japan, the United States, Europe and other countries and regions, showing the strong competitiveness of green food in the international market.

The pace of internationalization of green food is accelerating, which is mainly manifested in the gradual improvement of the depth and level of foreign exchanges and cooperation, and the rapid start of green food integration with the international community. In order to expand the field and scope of property rights protection of green food logo trademarks, green food logo trademarks have been registered in Japan and Hong Kong. In order to expand the export of green food and earn foreign exchange, China Green Food Development Center has formulated AA-level green food standards with reference to the international standards of organic agriculture and the national conditions of China. This set of standards is not only directly in line with international standards, but also scientific, authoritative and operable. In addition, through various forms of foreign exchanges and cooperation, as well as a large number of green foods entering the international market, China's green foods have attracted increasing attention in the international community.
