After the professionalization of the league, the new FA Cup started from 1995 and was suspended from 2007 to 20 10. Event history

As the national championship in Chinese mainland, China Football Association Cup was originally a national football championship founded by 1956, but it has only been held twice, namely 1956 and 1960.

1956 the first national football championship was held in Qingdao. This national football championship has a special requirement for players-they must be non-training players outside the national football league, that is, amateur players (this requirement has been cancelled since the second session). It can be seen that the FA Cup itself is set up for "grassroots football".

At that time, only nine teams participated in the competition, namely Qingdao team, Shanghai team, Beijing team, Tianjin team, Meixian team, Wuhan team, Liaoning team and Yanbian team. In addition, the State Sports Commission invited the Tibet team to participate. The competition * * * involved more than 90 athletes/kloc-0, lasting 20 days, and * * * appeared 16 games. In the end, the Shanghai team defeated the Tianjin team to win the championship.
