After the start of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Ren Zhiming went to Xinxiang, served as the Senate of the Northern Henan Division Command, and directly participated in the Anti-Japanese War. In the spring of 1938, he was transferred to the post office of the 13th Army and lived in Jiasong Town, zhenping county. Taking advantage of this position, he returned to Xincai many times to mobilize a large number of progressive young people to go to Yan' an to participate in the revolution. In the autumn of 1939, Ren Zhiming returned to Xincai again and personally led the school he founded as the chairman. With the support and cover of Ren Zhiming, the underground organization in Xincai County in China has rapidly developed, expanded, transformed and enriched mass organizations, and Ren Zhiming personally served as the director of the "Anti-Enemy Support Association". Under the leadership of the Party, extensive propaganda and agitation were carried out from urban to rural areas by means of assembly, speech, wall newspaper, slogan writing, drama performance and singing, and a vigorous anti-Japanese national salvation movement was launched. When the Kuomintang county party headquarters saw that the masses were really moving, they were terrified and made things difficult in every way. They arrested revolutionary teachers and students several times under an excuse, but Ren Zhiming managed to rescue them. He also introduced many progressive young people to the anti-Japanese base areas to participate in the revolution. In the autumn of 1947, Xincai County was liberated and Wang Dafu was appointed as the county magistrate. At that time, the PLA continued to go south, leaving no regular troops. Kuomintang reactionaries have organized reactionary armed "guerrillas" to fight for their lives. In order to protect the safety of people's property, Wang Dafu and Ren Zhiming agreed to gather more than 4 guns and set up a city defense committee, which Ren Zhiming was responsible for. Ren Zhiming, who was nearly eighty years old, led the armed forces of the masses and fought fiercely with the "guerrillas". In September 1947, Ren Zhiming returned to Henan, and soon became the vice chairman of the Consultative Committee of People's Congresses from all walks of life in Henan Province. In 1955, he served as vice chairman of the provincial CPPCC. In 1959, he also served as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the National Revolution. In his new post, Ren Zhiming studied hard, worked hard, was conscientious and meticulous, and died in Zhengzhou on January 1, 1969.
