The company has four project departments and 18 professional companies, which undertake the construction of three 600MW units, 1 300MW units and several substation projects, and the construction projects are all over North China:

1.After winning the bid for the construction of #2 unit in Datang Tuoketuo Power Plant in May 2000, it won the bid for the construction and installation of #3 unit in Tuodian Phase II in 2002, that is, the 3# water tower project. 1# cooling water tower project was capped on June 3rd this year. In the construction of water tower, the built-in lifting boom of gate is used to replace the folding arm crane. At present, the foundation of #3 steam turbine is under intense construction. These two 600MW units are scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2003 and August 2004 respectively. On August 30th, Datang Tuodian Phase II #3 cooling tower was started.

2. Unit 2 of Guohua Dingzhou Power Plant is a 600MW project, and 200 1 won the bid. At present, the main workshop has been capped on August 29th, and the turbine base has recently passed the supervision and inspection of Hebei Electric Power Construction Engineering Quality Supervision Center. In June 2002, Ding Dian won the bid for the construction and installation project of the booster station, and the foundation project has passed the acceptance.

Thirdly, the company also undertakes the construction and installation of 300MW units in the first phase of technical transformation project of Datang Tangshan Power Plant. The project was fully launched on May 9, 2002. When the earthwork is excavated to the design elevation, it encounters broken bedrock that is inconsistent with the survey and design data. After cooperating with the design and construction units, the foundation treatment lasted more than 40 days. Four foundation treatment methods, including high-pressure jet grouting, crushed stone vibroflotation and casing cast-in-place pile, have been adopted to solve the foundation treatment problem, and the foundation construction is now under intense pressure. The project is scheduled to be put into production on March 1 2004.

4. The company is located at Huaibaishu Street 19, Xuanwu District, Beijing, and is building a high-rise and multi-storey residential building with cast-in-place reinforced concrete shear wall structure, with a construction area of 233 19m2. In the construction of underground structure, there are two construction methods for post-pouring belt: one is settlement post-pouring belt, the other is common post-pouring belt, and the concrete anti-seepage expansion agent is mixed into the concrete of post-pouring belt to prevent leakage and avoid concrete cracks. Part of the main structure floor also adopts φJ 15 prestressed steel strand with low relaxation and no cohesive force. This technology was successfully applied to the 3× 30,000-ton coal storage silo project of Shijingshan Thermal Power Plant in 1998, and won the first prize for the promotion of scientific and technological achievements of North China Electric Power Group Corporation. At present, the project is striving for the Great Wall Cup of Beijing Structure, and the project is coming to an end.

5. dingfuzhuang-East Fifth Ring Medium-pressure Natural Gas Pipeline Project, Changxindian Medium-pressure Natural Gas Pipeline Project, Wangsiying Pressure Regulating Station Project, Qingnian Road Natural Gas Pipeline Project and other medium-pressure natural gas pipeline projects are the main construction tasks of the company's municipal engineering at this stage. The pipeline project from Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia gas field to Beijing, which has been completed and put into use, was awarded the 2002 China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Quality Project Gold Award by the Appraisal Committee of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Construction Quality Award.
