As we all know, giant pandas are very cute. However, few people know how to protect them. Giant pandas are on the verge of extinction. Personally, I think: First of all, we must make strict laws to protect giant pandas. Nobody knows. Is it right or wrong for human beings to raise giant pandas? When they go to the zoo, everyone should not feed them food in plastic bags. This is dangerous! We should have the consciousness of protecting animals.

Protecting them depends on each of us. Only by taking action can our strength be great.

In 2004, the results of the third national giant panda survey showed that there were 17 adult giant pandas living in ningshan county, Shaanxi Province. Ningshan county Forestry Bureau has made outstanding achievements in the investigation of giant pandas, won the title of advanced collective in the national investigation of giant pandas, and was commended by the State Forestry Administration.

Since its establishment three years ago, the reserve has done a lot of fruitful work and accelerated the pace of its construction.

Strengthen protection and make resources available to giant pandas.

Ningshan county is located at the southern foot of the middle Qinling Mountains, with a humid climate in the north subtropical zone and a transitional zone between the north and the south of China. It is the watershed between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, with a forest coverage rate of 86%. There are 78 species of seed plants11in the nature reserve, including 27 species of national key protected wild plants such as Taxus chinensis and Abies Qinling. There are 6,287 hectares of bamboo forests in the reserve, which provide abundant food for giant pandas. There are 273 species of terrestrial wild animals in nature reserves, and 33 species such as giant panda, golden monkey, antelope, forest musk deer, impala and swan are protected by the state. Ningshan has become a paradise for national treasures and giant pandas.

In order to strengthen the management and protection of nature reserves, ningshan county transferred elite troops from the forestry system and established three giant panda protection stations in Huang Guan, Xinchang and Simu, with 9 managers and 30 village rangers, specializing in the protection and management of giant pandas. Seven wildlife conservation managers with junior college education, funded by the World Wide Fund for Nature and trained by the Wildlife Resources College of Northeast Forestry University, have graduated, and three of them have been enriched to work in the giant panda reserve, which has strengthened the protection and management of the reserve.

In order to create a safe and quiet home for the giant panda, Ankang municipal government uses radio, television, newspapers and other media to publicize the importance of protecting the giant panda. They also widely publicize and educate the laws and regulations on wildlife protection by using publicity vehicles in the annual "Bird Love Week" and "Wildlife Publicity Month" activities. Hold a photo exhibition of "protecting giant pandas and protecting wild animals"; Print wildlife propaganda slogans, post wildlife protection notices, and make the Notice on Strengthening the Management of Giant Panda Nature Reserve 150 permanent publicity iron plate. In order to ensure the safety of wildlife resources in the Giant Panda Nature Reserve and improve the habitat of giant pandas, the ningshan county Municipal People's Government established the "ningshan county Wildlife Protection Leading Group" on September, 2002 10, and issued the "Implementation Plan for Special Management of Wildlife Protection", which was attended by forestry, public security, industry and commerce departments and carried out four large-scale special management of wildlife. In order to strengthen the protection of giant panda's food resources, Ningxia county government issued the Notice on Prohibiting the Harvesting of Miscellaneous Bamboo in Giant Panda Activity Area on May 4th, 20001year, stopped cutting bamboo and digging bamboo shoots indiscriminately to protect giant panda's habitat and food source, and actively coordinated the neighboring provincial forestry bureaus of Ningdong and Ningxi to strengthen the protection and management of giant pandas in state-owned forest areas.

At the same time, the rescue of injured wild animals has always been the primary task of the Ningshan Giant Panda Reserve. Since the establishment of the nature reserve, * * * has rescued giant pandas, golden monkeys, antelopes, forest musk deer, black bears and other national first-and second-class protected wild animals 10.
