What do the red, yellow and green codes of WeChat Health Code mean?

WeChat Health Code Color Description

The red code

refers to people who should be prohibited from moving around, carry out diagnosis and treatment or implement isolation and observation. Mainly include:

1. Personnel from key epidemic prevention and control areas and high-risk areas;

2. Confirmed patients and suspected patients;

3. Asymptomatic infected persons who are under centralized isolation medical observation;

4. Close contacts who are under centralized medical observation;

5. Other persons who need to be included in the red group.

Yellow code

refers to people whose movement should be restricted and subject to centralized and home isolation medical observation. Mainly include:

1. People from epidemic-risk areas (excluding Nantong area);

2. People with fever, cough, and fatigue;

3. Confirmed patients who have been cured and discharged from hospital under centralized medical observation or home observation for less than 14 days; 4. Asymptomatic infected persons who have been released from medical isolation for less than 14 days.

Green codes refer to people whose risks have not yet been discovered, as well as those who originally held red or yellow codes and were adjusted to green after community (village) verification or voluntary declaration.
