Penalty standards for speeding and overloading

The following are the provisions of Chinese laws and regulations on speeding and overloading penalties. According to Article 55 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law, motor vehicles carrying passengers shall comply with the following provisions: (1) Road passenger cars shall not exceed the approved number of passengers, except for children who are free of charge according to regulations. When the passengers are full, the number of children who are free of charge according to the regulations shall not exceed10% of the approved number of passengers; (2) If the number of passengers in passenger cars other than operating buses (excluding buses) exceeds 20% of the approved number, a fine of 100 will be imposed, and 6 points will be recorded. If the driver of a motor vehicle carries 5 people, but actually carries 6 people, 6 points can be scored and a fine of 100 yuan can be imposed. (three) driving passenger cars (excluding buses), school buses carrying less than 20% of the approved number, or driving other passenger cars carrying more than 20% of the approved number, score 6 points.
