Compared with the new textbook, the grammar and sentence patterns in the old textbook may be more difficult. The vocabulary of the new version will definitely be larger than that of the old version.

The size of the book is also very intuitive, so you can compare the knowledge capacity inside ~ the date is as small as the old version, and the new version is as big. . . It is difficult for the old version to adapt to the requirements of the reformed Japanese proficiency test in terms of vocabulary.

Therefore, it is recommended to change to a new version.
