The overall epidemic continues to be at a low epidemic level. At present, the transmission of AIDS through blood transfusion has been basically blocked, the transmission through intravenous drug use and mother-to-child transmission have been effectively controlled, and sexual transmission has become the main transmission route. Among newly reported infections from January to October 2019, heterosexual sexual transmission accounted for 73.7%, and male homosexual transmission accounted for 23.0%.

·Strengthen self-discipline and reduce the frequency of sexual life.

·Insist on safe sex practices and use condoms correctly during sex.

·Delay the age of first sexual intercourse.

Safe sex: refers to no contact with body fluids (including semen, vaginal secretions, blood, etc.) during the entire process of sexual contact with others. Use condoms correctly during sexual intercourse, avoid oral and vaginal intercourse without condoms, and do not use anal intercourse.
