The Natural Resources of Yu He Town

Yu He Town is rich in products and resources, and it is a township with agriculture as its main industry. The pillar industries are grain, flue-cured tobacco and animal husbandry, and the grain crops are corn, wheat, rice, potatoes and beans. Cash crops include flue-cured tobacco and rape. And animal husbandry is mainly pigs and cattle. There are famous Chinese herbal medicines such as Gastrodia elata, Eucommia ulmoides, Cortex Phellodendri and Pinellia ternata. There are more than 68,000 mu of timber forests dominated by Chinese fir. More than 8,000 mu of economic forests are mainly pears, chestnuts, walnuts, sericulture and tea. There is a rain river in the town, which belongs to one of the headwaters of Chishui River. Among them, there are more than one stream 10, which flows through the six villages of Rain River, Xinhe, Longjing, Li Le, Guaxiong and Chaba, and flows into Yudong River for 25 kilometers, adding a natural landscape. Mineral resources mainly include anthracite, marble, Maya stone and limestone.
