How to educate students about filial piety

As the product of long-term social practice in ancient China, the educational environment of filial piety education students has played a positive role in the development of the Chinese nation, enhancing national cohesion and forming national values, which can be said to be indispensable. Filial piety culture is an important part of China's excellent traditional culture. In the past, due to various reasons, we paid insufficient attention to traditional culture education, especially filial piety education, which was almost blank in the field of school education. People who don't even know what filial piety means are everywhere, and people and things that are disobedient and unfilial in society are also common.

With the rapid social transformation, the increasing proportion of only children and the aging population, it is particularly urgent and important for a young couple to support at least two pairs of parents, and the younger generation to pursue filial piety for their elders. In addition, some teenagers' filial piety concept is in fracture and conflict, family concept is weakened, utilitarian thought is serious, and sense of responsibility is lacking. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out filial piety education in schools, especially for students. This is not only the historical responsibility and sacred right given to educators by society, but also an important content of school moral education in the new period.

First, pay attention to the campus environment and create an atmosphere of filial piety education.

Huaxia Sub-school always regards creating a good educational atmosphere as an important educational resource and way, emphasizing that students are edified and inspired in the process of creating this cultural atmosphere, thus providing a good filial piety education environment.

In order to create a good educational atmosphere, the slogans and pictures in our school campus and the exhibition boards posted in the publicity window are carefully designed and rationally planned around the theme of "filial piety", so that "every corner of the campus tells the topic of filial piety"; In the class, the atmosphere of "filial piety" permeates the hearts of every class and every student through activities such as the establishment of blackboard newspaper, the arrangement of learning garden, the editing of handwritten newspaper and the Putonghua competition.

Second, take various forms to deeply understand the true meaning of filial piety.

Filial piety, with the word "old" on it and the word "son" below, is like a son carrying Laozi on his back. It is not difficult to see from here that only when the upper and lower generations are integrated can there be "filial piety", so children should always think about filial piety to the elderly and always keep the word "filial piety" in mind. Based on this, I use the class meeting to explain the ancient filial piety culture in China to students, so as to raise their attention to it. And assign homework: use the information class to consult filial piety articles and extract useful information for my use. Based on the data of each student, through our discussion, we all agree that "respecting and supporting relatives, supporting the sick, strengthening the body and remonstrating to die well" is our view of filial piety, and the universal value of "respecting and supporting relatives" is the key to our filial piety. Because the basic meaning of filial piety is "doing good to parents", support is to ensure the supply of parents' material needs. Children are raised by their parents when they are young, but when their parents are old and weak, they have the social responsibility to support, help and repay their parents' kindness. It is not enough to support your parents. What is more important is to show "respect for your loved ones" in the process of supporting them, that is, to love and respect your parents and loved ones who raised you, and often go home to see them.

Third, the use of Chinese teaching, natural infiltration of filial piety education

Classroom, especially Chinese classroom, is the main battlefield for us to educate students on filial piety. Here, we can fully tap the factors of traditional filial piety education and consciously infiltrate filial piety education into classroom teaching. The new curriculum reform attaches importance to the education of Chinese traditional culture, and there are many texts in the textbook that involve or simply talk about filial piety culture. For example, the seventh-grade text "Walking" regards walking as an inconspicuous way of rest as a bond to unite family ties, which shows mutual respect and care among family members and embodies the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation to respect the elderly and love the young; Another example is "Golden Flower" and "Lotus Mother", both of which are beautiful essays, which make us feel the love of family. This kind of feeling is beautiful and sacred, which makes us understand the responsibility, gratitude and selfless return. This will enable students to constantly correct their words and deeds to meet the requirements of filial piety.

In addition, in writing teaching, I never ignore the culture of filial piety. After learning the text about filial piety, students have accumulated some information about filial piety culture. I will write some questions about filial piety, so that students can discover and accumulate the material of family life, think about the deep affection contained in it, let them deeply understand their family, cultivate their love for their family, their love for their parents and realize their responsibilities. At the same time, I let students go out of the classroom and collect people and things that are filial and unfilial in today's society as negative teaching materials, so that students can understand good and evil, beauty, ugliness, good and evil in positive and negative contrast and provide materials for writing.

Filial piety can't just be written on paper, the key is to put it into action. To this end, we must experience and practice through various channels and forms.

Fourth, organize filial piety activities for special festivals.

With the accelerated pace of life, the importance of many traditional festivals that were not paid much attention to in the past is becoming more and more obvious. The tradition of China people makes us more restrained when expressing our feelings, and seldom talk about loving our parents. Then, festivals are a good opportunity. For example, on Women's Day and Mother's Day, students can express their love for their mothers in their favorite way. "Double Ninth Festival" organizes students to carry out some activities to respect and love the elderly. Teachers' Day allows students to carry out activities to thank their teachers. You can also use the birthdays of teachers, peers and parents to guide students to make some birthday cards for teachers and peers, and write words of blessing and thanks to express their gratitude.

As a class teacher, when these festivals come, I will publicize and remind the students through the channel of class diary, or during the afternoon class at school. In this way, students can make full use of festivals and express their gratitude to their parents.

Five, the implementation of home-school contact, promote the filial piety education of students.

In order to convey the message of filial piety to students and set a good example, when we heard that some children and old people in mountainous areas were ill, on the one hand, we organized teachers to visit them in person, bringing love donations from teachers and students, and providing tutoring for students who delayed their studies because of taking care of the old people, so that they could feel the care of the school and the warmth of teachers, and realize the true meaning of filial piety at a higher and deeper level. Some children's families died unfortunately, and teachers would take time to express their condolences. At the same time, provide spiritual comfort and financial help to children. Give special care to the disadvantaged groups within the scope of school grants, and let them understand that filial piety is not a unilateral effort, but an exchange of love and true feelings of the whole society.

Many children in mountain schools need our care and love, and more often they need us to guide their feelings. Therefore, as parents, we should not only give our children love, set an example and give them opportunities, but also let them learn to cherish and appreciate. Affirming the expression of children's love and gratitude, our children will not only have the consciousness of love, but also have those grateful behaviors. They should also participate in students' moral education, and teachers should take advantage of home visits or parents' coming to school to discuss good strategies for moral education with parents. For example, launch a series of activities, such as making thanksgiving cards, washing parents' feet once, following their parents' work for a day, sending love emails (showing the true feelings between family and children), giving parents a surprise, making small gifts for their parents' birthdays, saying "I love you" to their parents, so that children can enjoy the joy of loving and being loved in the experience and gratitude. Educate students to be grateful, learn to be grateful, love their parents, teachers, peers and people around them, and even develop to love nature and the motherland.

In the process of filial piety culture education in school, cultivate students' gratitude consciousness, let them know that drinking water is the source of gratitude, and always remember the kindness of parents, teachers and society. Only in this way can students inherit traditional virtues, form correct values and world outlook, and pass on this traditional culture.
