Requirements for conscription in 2022:

1. Height standard: male height 160cm or above, female height 158cm or above, qualified. Conditional soldier height conditions shall be implemented according to relevant standards.

2. Weight standard: weight meets the following conditions and fasting blood sugar.

Male: 17.5 ≤ body mass index

Female: 17 ≤ body mass index

If the body mass index ≥28, it is necessary to check the hemoglobin test items in the blood and the percentage of glycosylated hemoglobin.

Algorithm: Body Mass Index = weight (kg) divided by the square of height (m).

① The naked eye vision of any eye is less than 4.5, which is unqualified.

② The naked vision of any eye is less than 4.8, the corrected vision of any eye is less than 4.8 or the corrected degree is more than 600 degrees, which is unqualified.

③ After more than half a year of excimer laser surgery (excluding intraocular lens implantation and other surgical operations), ametropia has no complications. The naked eye vision of any eye is 4.8, and the fundus examination is normal, except for qualified soldiers.

(4) Qualified soldiers' eyesight shall be subject to relevant standards.
