The principle of tidal power generation is similar to that of ordinary hydropower generation. By leaving the reservoir, seawater is stored in the reservoir at high tide and stored as potential energy. Then, when the tide ebbs, seawater is released, and the turbine is driven to rotate by the difference of high and low tide levels, and the generator is driven to generate electricity.
