Why do many communities in Beijing end with "Li"?

Since the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), China, as the capital of successive dynasties, was legally required to take 25 houses as a mile, so many residential areas left the custom of naming after Li. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, quadrangles have been demolished and turned into high-rise buildings, but people still want to keep this custom, so many names named after Li have appeared.
