Chibi belongs to Xianning City, Hubei Province.

Chibi is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province and managed by Xianning City. It is located in the southeast of Hubei Province and the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is the contact zone between the low hills of the shogunate and Jianghan Plain. Chibi has jurisdiction over 15 towns, 4 streets, 2 state-owned forest farms and tea gardens.

The terrain of chibi city gradually inclines from south to north, and the southern part is a low mountain with an altitude of about 500 meters, with Guanyin Cave in Zheping Village of Zhaoliqiao Town as the highest, with an altitude of 852 meters. The middle is hilly. The northern area along the river is an alluvial plain about 50 meters above sea level, with Niejiaquan in Shenshan Town as the lowest point.

Yangtze River crossing section: It enters from Baishazhou, Huanggai Lake, flows westward, passes through Taipingkou, Jiugong 'an, Huangjia Wharf, Chengzizhou and Chibi Mountain, and flows through Zuiwan, Yao Zui, Yujiadun, Caijiadun, Yuedijiao and Hongmiaokou, with a total length of 12.54 km, which is the channel for chibi city to enter Sichuan and Hunan and exit from Han and Shanghai.
