Russia has issued a ceasefire request to Ukraine. Do you think Ukraine can accept it? Can the Russia-Ukraine war be stopped?

I think it is impossible for Ukraine to accept it, and the current war between Russia and Ukraine will not stop. Recently, the Russian Foreign Minister set out four conditions for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, which are:

First, Ukraine ceases hostilities against Russia (here mainly refers to the Ukrainian army crossing the border to attack the Russian mainland);

p>

Second, the United States, the EU, and NATO stop military aid to Ukraine;

Third, Ukraine remains neutral and is not allowed to join the EU and NATO;

Fourth, recognizes Ukraine Rimea and the four Ukrainian states that surrendered to Russia belong to Russia's "new territory", and Russian has been declared as the national language of Ukraine, and the rights of Russian-speaking people must be protected.

When I saw the conditions offered by Russia, I knew that this was simply unrealistic and Ukraine would definitely not accept it. Facts have proved that our suspicion was correct. Ukraine not only rejected these ceasefire demands, but also issued a ceasefire request for Russia: "Require Russia to unconditionally withdraw its troops and withdraw from all Ukrainian territory; extradite Russian war criminals, and put high-level officials of the current Russian government on trial; Establish a buffer zone on Russian territory to ensure Ukraine’s future national defense security; Russia voluntarily gives up its confiscated overseas assets, etc.”

Well, it seems that neither of these brothers is willing to coddle the other. Right. Why does it say that Ukraine will not accept Russia’s request for a ceasefire?

The first request may still be possible, but asking the West to stop military aid to Ukraine, doesn’t that mean asking Ukraine to lay down its arms and surrender? Moreover, it previously only said that Ukraine would not be allowed to join NATO, but now it is not allowed to join the EU. In addition, it recognizes the ownership of Crimea and the four Ukrainian states. The situation in Crimea is complicated and will not be discussed for the time being. However, the four Ukrainian states undoubtedly belong to Ukraine. Taken together, this is simply unrealistic. Let alone whether the West agrees or not, Ukraine will not accept it either.

So why can’t the Russia-Ukraine war be stopped so far? In my opinion, there are nothing more than the following factors:

The first is that Western countries led by the United States do not agree to stop the war. After finally finding a way to weaken Russia, how could it let go so easily. No, a leader of the beautiful country said two days ago that this is the most valuable money they have spent (referring to military aid to Ukraine). The flames of war will not reach the mainland, and there is no need to provide help. The goal can be achieved by spending a little money. Western countries will definitely be willing to enjoy the results.

Secondly, under the current circumstances, it is impossible for Ukraine and Russia to actively stop the war. The Russo-Ukrainian war has developed to the current situation. Ukraine has basically been defeated. It can be said that the country is no longer a country. The people were displaced, the territory was divided and taken away, and they did not join NATO. If the war ceases at this time, Ukraine may be the next Iraq, and it may not be as good as Iraq. But if we can win the war, we will not only get back the territory but also receive war compensation, and our international status will also be significantly improved.

There are preconditions for a ceasefire in Russia, just like the conditions proposed above, but Ukraine will not agree at all, and Russia also knows this situation. Let Russia spit out the annexed Ukrainian territory, then why has it been fighting such a long war? If Ukraine agrees to join NATO, Russia will face greater threats and challenges. In addition, a ceasefire without victory is not in line with Russia's interests and national will.

So to sum up, the Russo-Ukrainian war will continue until one side wins. It will only suffer the people of the two countries and make a group of accomplices (Western countries led by the United States) happy.
