The Forbidden City is the imperial palace in China from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, and it is also the largest palace in the world. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now it is the seat of the Palace Museum. For nearly five centuries, it has been the home of the emperor and his family, and also the ceremonial and political center of the China government.

The giant stone Buddha in Leshan was built in the Tang Dynasty (618–907). It was carved on the surface of a cliff near the intersection of Minjiang River, Dadu River and Qingyi River in the south of Sichuan Province, China. It is the largest stone Buddha in the world.
