What does a body measurer do?

A measurer is a senior tailor who takes detailed measurements for customers when customizing clothing.

Measurement specialists generally provide customized services to customers in top clothing brands.

Measurement experts integrate shopping guide, body measurement and sales capabilities. After the body measurement expert completes the measurement, the user and the body measurement expert will fully communicate with each other about their wearing occasions, habits and preferences. Choose fabric, collar type, sleeve type, etc. After the measurement is completed and the user places an order, the measurement technician will also be responsible for after-sales service.

Measurement technicians generally have a technical secondary school degree or above and are engaged in clothing-related majors. Those with more than 2 years of practical experience in measuring suits and shirts will be given priority.

Garment Measurer Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the customized measurement business, and enable the production department to produce fitting and beautiful clothing through accurate measurement data;

2. According to the customer’s body shape characteristics, we can individually measure, modify, and adjust the measurement data for customers with different body types to comply with the pattern process;

3. Understand the customer’s personal size requirements and other related Details, control the measurement pass rate; based on clothing fashion trends and the dressing habits and dressing psychology of customers in different regions, enthusiastically and actively communicate with customers to improve customer satisfaction;

4. Be familiar with clothing styles and clothing technology , master the measurement and cutting of clothing, and understand the inspection quality standards of clothing; communicate well with sales staff and customers, complete measuring tasks according to schedule, and check data;

5. Timely and effective tracking of after-sales service, Fill in the after-sales service record form;

6. Give rational suggestions based on customer body shape, dressing habits, wearing occasions and other information to help improve sales performance.
