We were stopped by the fire checkpoint at the intersection. I thought I could pass the registration once, but the requirements here are strict. You need to use your ID card to register the ins and outs in detail, and pay one yuan for a fire permit. The fee is not much, but the registration content is more complicated.

While waiting for the permit, we met an old man who rode thousands of miles alone. He said that in his later years, he was actually similar to us, except that his dark brown face baked by ultraviolet rays had a few more traces of years. But when you touch his bright eyes, you can obviously feel that he is full of youthful vitality.

A Mongolian-style square gate stands like the Arc de Triomphe at the junction of the two provinces. On both sides of the gate are forest fire prevention checkpoints in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang Province. Two houses, two railings and two toilets are in their own arrays and do not intersect with each other. We first register here in Inner Mongolia, then drive through the Arc de Triomphe, and then register the same content there in Heilongjiang before passing.

I looked up at the Arc de Triomphe, which was a generation of arrogant Genghis Khan wearing a yellow helmet. On the horizontal forehead is written' People in Inner Mongolia Forest Region wish you a safe journey', and on the other side is written' Welcome to Daxinganling Forest Administration of Inner Mongolia'. Obviously, the Arc de Triomphe must have been funded by Inner Mongolia. At the same time, I was thinking that two checkpoints, two facilities and two people were built just a few steps away. Repeated registration by passers-by is like going abroad. Why can't we enjoy the resources and simplify the procedures? Later, I thought, this may involve a very specific fire safety responsibility, but we just don't know it.

Standing in front of the tall and green Pinus sylvestris forest in Songyuan Park, I can't imagine how they survived the overwhelming fire. There is a 56 fire memorial hall in Mohe, but we didn't visit it because of the time. After a quick lunch in the county seat, we continued to go north along Mobei Highway to Arctic Village.

Mobei Highway is a first-class highway from Mohe to Beiji Village, with a total length of more than 7 kilometers, a speed limit of 8 in both directions and four lanes, and good road conditions. It took us more than an hour to reach the gate of the Arctic Village scenic spot.

There is a frontier guard post at the gate of the scenic spot. Two handsome young border guards in armed police uniforms came to our car. After a standard military salute, they politely asked everyone to show their ID cards and use handheld devices for registration verification.

Then we bought tickets in the beautiful and tidy ticket hall and drove into the scenic spot (admission ticket for the scenic spot is 6 yuan, 5% for people over 6, and free for people over 7). According to the conductor, you can't drive into the scenic spot during the tourist season, so you can only stop outside and transfer to the scenic spot bus. We are glad that now is the right time.

Then you can walk along the wooden plank road extending in all directions on the Arctic continent to Jinjiguan Square, Beizi Square, Beiwangyakou, Shenzhou Arctic Square and Jiang Jie River. There is also a beautiful hut, the northernmost WC, which can provide you with the northernmost convenience.

Looking north from the observation deck, the frozen Heilongjiang lies like a white dragon between China and Russia. Behind the towering boulder on the other side is a dense forest of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica. There is a Russian border post on the river bank, which is supported by an iron frame, so its green body, red roof and white windows stand out.

Then we went all the way back to the village along the northernmost family's northern name, northernmost shop, northernmost affairs bureau, Arctic family old inn and so on. I feel that this is the world in the north, and everything can't be separated from the north. Everything is on the word North, and there will never be a feeling that you can't find North here. Make it truly the northernmost village in China.

Mohe Arctic Village, located in the northernmost part of the motherland, is the closest place to the Earth's North Pole in China. Beautiful Northern Lights can often be seen in the evening around the summer solstice every year. According to the hotel waiter, it is very lively around the summer solstice, and it is often hard to find a shop. Many young people even set up tents outside to see the beautiful and holy Northern Lights. Of course, this is not the season when the Northern Lights shine, but we are satisfied to see the white and flawless glacier landscape in Heilongjiang.

For lunch on today's new trip, Bing Sheng and Lan Lan went to a side dish market in Arctic Village to buy pork and vegetables. The local price of ribs is 17 yuan per catty, which is an affordable price. 9 yuan for a cabbage is not too expensive, because it must have been shipped from the far south.
