This is an undoubted victory

After two years and nine months of bloody fighting

The U.S. imperialist invaders had to retreat

The latitude that can never be crossed

This is a brilliant and great victory

Jindalai is a pink mountain flower, which symbolizes perseverance and struggle in the eyes of Koreans. In the memory of many veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Jindalai did not fear the cold and bloomed in the spring, just like that heroic million-strong division, just like those 16-and 17-year-old volunteer soldiers, who wrote history with youth and blood and bloomed silently on the battlefield.

Today,

we cherish the memory of the eventful days when we wrote about blood and tears

carry forward the great spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea

inherit the red gene of Beihai soldiers in the intersection of history and reality

explore the "Jindalai" in the splendid camp here

the first generation of naval radar soldiers.

Build a volunteer radar station

Shenmi Island, the largest island in North Korea, is located in the West Korean Bay, southwest of Xuanchuan, North Pyongan Province, North Korea, with an area of 53.1 square kilometers, and there are urban clouds in it.

during the Korean war, it was on this small island that seemed to be far away from the Korean mainland. The first generation of naval radar soldiers, the predecessor of a radar brigade of the navy in the northern theater, built a volunteer radar station in China.

After the outbreak of the Korean War, the China Volunteers fought five battles to drive the United Nations led by the United States back to the vicinity of the "38th parallel". At this time, the US government attempted to implement the "Second Incheon Landing".

in December, 1952, the CPC central Committee and chairman Mao gave instructions on the participation of various arms in the anti-landing operations in north Korea, and the head of the navy said that he would try his best to participate in the war as soon as possible. As a result, Qingdao naval radar station was divided into two. Nine radar operators and two oil engine generators rushed to Beijing to receive tasks and fight in the DPRK.

At the end of 1952, they broke through numerous blockades, arrived at Kamiya Island, a small isolated island at the forefront of the West Sea of Korea, and built a volunteer radar station.

a few days later, enemy planes took turns flying over the island of Kamiya for reconnaissance and bombing. The personnel and machines of the radar station are all in the underground tunnel, which is very safe. But the enemy won't give up, flying reconnaissance at ultra-low altitude from time to time. In the hidden place of the tunnel entrance, the radar soldiers can clearly see the faces of American pilots. They could have shot at the plane with machine guns and rifles, but no one would have done it, because it is a trivial matter to shoot down an enemy plane, and exposing the target is a big matter. There is only one radar station in West Korea Bay!

During the day, enemy planes are brave, but at night, secret agents make trouble, and flares and signal flares come and go. All the trouble in the sea far and near failed to escape the highly vigilant eyes of the radar soldiers. It is precisely because of their constant observation of enemy aircraft, warships and other activities, coupled with the layers of defense of various arms, that the trick of the US military to engage in the second Incheon landing has never succeeded. In addition, the vicinity of the "38th parallel" suffered another fiasco, so the US military had to sign the armistice agreement in July 1953, and the Korean War won the final victory.

At present, only one of the first generation navy radar soldiers of New China who fought in the DPRK is still alive, and he is an 88-year-old Wu Xiansheng. On the anniversary of the founding of the army, Wu Lao will go back to Qingdao to have a look. Standing on the first naval radar station in China, looking across the sea, the radio wave years accompanied by smoke on the island of Kamiya show the great revolutionary heroism of the volunteer radar soldiers.

Air Iron Fist Attack

Breaking the enemy's "circle array" for the first time

In order to seize the air superiority in the Korean battlefield and support the ground troops, in March 1952, the predecessor of a brigade of Beihang University, the 51st Regiment of the 17th Air Division, was ordered to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

In the face of American pilots who participated in the Second World War and flew hundreds or even thousands of hours, the pilots of the regiment flew for only a few dozen hours. With the dauntless spirit of "newborn calves are not afraid of tigers", they are not afraid of sacrifice, dare to fight and fight, are flexible and have repeatedly made outstanding achievements, and have achieved a glorious record of shooting down and injuring 11 enemy planes.

On September 17th and December 17th, 1952, Yang Hanhuang, the pilot director, shot down one American F-86 fighter plane and one American F-4U fighter plane over Kuandian County, Liaoning Province and Datong River, North Korea, respectively. The mighty American pilot was hit hard by our air iron fist for the first time.

In order to get rid of the passive situation, the US military played a "circle array" tactic called "invincible air fortress" in World War II. This circle tactic was created by a German pilot in World War II. Its method is to form a circle of air fleet, flying forward like a flying saucer, covering each other and being able to attack and defend well. In order to break the "circle array", the whole regiment worked together and repeatedly studied the methods of breaking the enemy.

On February 17, 1953, the pilots of the regiment, Yu Kailiang, Geng Dongqing, Li Chunmeng and Chen Taiqu, flew in an air battle. When five enemy F-4U planes were bitten by our plane and the tried-and-tested "circle formation" tactics were used again, we immediately narrowed the formation and entered at a medium speed and small angle, shooting down three enemy planes in one fell swoop, which was the first time for the volunteers to break the "circle formation" record.

on the Korean battlefield, the first generation of pilots took our army's tradition of daring to see the red with a bayonet to the sky, broke the "circle tactics" used by American imperialism in World War II, and broke the myth that the US Air Force was invincible, leaving an earth-shattering and weeping page in the history of world air combat.

Jindalai, which is always in full bloom from North Korea to Laoding

On the top of Laoshan Mountain, which is known as the first mountain in the sea, clusters of Jindalai, which symbolizes the revolutionary heroism of the volunteers, are in full bloom in the wind and cold.

The officers and men of a certain naval unit in the northern theater of this high mountain will never forget the Panshan Highway built by thousands of officers and men of jinan military area command's 199th Division and 2th Division in 1957, nor forget the great achievements of their predecessors in the Korean battlefield.

On October 1st, 1949, founding ceremony, the 199th Division was inspected by Chairman Mao as the representative of the infantry parade, and was called the "First Division of the Founding of the People's Republic of China".

On the Korean battlefield, officers and men of the 199th Division received the title of "First Division", and the 67th Army, where they belonged, as the third batch of troops to fight in the DPRK, not only set a battle example of annihilating an enemy regiment, but also wiped out 87,847 people, making it the largest number of troops to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

After their triumphant return from the Korean battlefield, they failed to find clothes. With the orders of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, they plunged into the mountains and were willing to be "pioneers" and "paving stones" in national defense construction.

After the completion of Laoding, the veterans who built the city left behind the stone carving of "Korea made meritorious deeds in killing the enemy in the past, but now it is hard to build a city in Laoshan", and planted the Jindalai flowers brought back from North Korea on the Laoding where they fought for it.

The ancestors not only left stone carvings and Jindalai, but also deeply planted their spirit of fear of sacrifice, hard work and selfless dedication on the mountains, inspiring generations of officers and men to take root in the mountains, strive for the highest position and make contributions.

even in this world the spirit of a hero, lives and reigns for thousands of years

Looking back on that war

Heroic sons and daughters died fearlessly in the land full of Jindalai

Nowadays, Their call and hope

passed through the flames of war

were

regarded as a mission by generations of China soldiers, and they enthusiastically practiced the spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea
