How to pass Japanese N2 by self-study in 3 months from zero basic knowledge? personal experience

First of all, let me introduce my background for reference: I am an ordinary undergraduate at a non-university, non-language major, with a score of about 120 in English in the college entrance examination, so I am definitely not a genius in language, I am just an ordinary person. I worked hard to pass Japanese N2 through self-study, so this article will focus on the test-taking methods on how to self-study and pass this exam.

Prologue: About our goals

Our goal is to pass Japanese N2 in three months of self-study. This goal is divided into three components:

1. The time is within three months, which is the time necessary for ordinary people to learn from scratch (language geniuses are ignored, and Tieba masters even boast that they passed N2 without reading). You can estimate that your laziness will be extended appropriately. The calculation method of necessary time is explained in detail later.

2. The method is through self-study, that is, you do not rely on cram schools and formal teaching, but you can seize all available resources (in human terms, you can have sex for free and never spend money. I passed Japanese N2 It only cost 450 yuan for the registration fee + 50 yuan for the test paper. Yes, I even bought the textbooks from the library for free)

3. Pass Japanese N2 instead of N3 or N1. The reason is that the public currently has no understanding of Japanese. The highest level of recognition (for non-Japanese majors) is N1 (very powerful dalao level), followed by N2 (dalao that can understand Japanese), and then N114514 or Japanese V3, which is the level of most otakus. Therefore, our goal is to pass Japanese N2 directly, which is the most cost-effective way.

Choice is very important. After finding a firm direction for our efforts, let’s start creating miracles!

1. Preparation

In order to pass this exam, what do we need to prepare? We need to prepare a mood, exam tools, and a period of time.

Let us first assume an ideal person, Xiao Li, who is going to Japan...

Xiao Li is a robot who likes Japanese very much and really wants to learn Japanese well. He will get bored of studying and does not need a break. He will complete every day's tasks according to the plan. But how can he pass the Japanese N2 test in three months if he doesn't even know the syllabary?

Step one: Now that you have set the goal of taking the N2 exam, are you ready to start studying tomorrow?

From the moment you read this article, this war begins!

Only 10% of people who want to learn Japanese memorize the fifty syllables, and only 10% of those who succeed in memorizing all the fifty syllables in the end, so from the beginning The winner is decided.

The first step that troubles many Japanese learners: How to memorize so many fifty tones? I have watched a lot of video tutorials, but they are useless as soon as I watch them. I forget them. I can’t remember it no matter how hard I memorize it.

Here comes the point! ! ! How to remember so many fifty tones?

The method is, if you forget it, just forget it. Regardless of whether you have written it down or not, you have to move forward!

Do you think I will tell you how to memorize this あいうえお and draw you a picture to help you remember it? Please, have you remembered it after watching so many video tutorials? I've told you ten thousand times, but I've remembered it in the end, but you still haven't, so what should I do? Don’t forget, I’m talking about self-study, I only teach you the methods.

Where can I find the fifty tones? There is a content under Baidu Encyclopedia about the origin of kana. Copy each kana and the corresponding Chinese characters on a piece of paper and take it with you and start memorizing it. < /p>

Is this possible? Don’t forget, since you read this article, it means you want to create a miracle of getting N2 in three months, so this is just a small step to create a miracle.

You may really not be able to memorize it, but before you can’t memorize it, let yourself struggle to memorize it for three days. Don't keep staring at this picture when memorizing. There are ten lines in total, right? Memorize four lines a day. Remember, after memorizing every day, use all means to find the kana you memorized. What does it mean? Let’s give an example for easy explanation:

On the first day, you finished memorizing あかさた行Kana. You remembered Ma Dongmei, and then you closed the book. What was Ma Dongmei just now? It's true, we are all the same, forgetting is inevitable and it's not your fault, you just need to look for it.

Baidu or anything else will do. If you like watching anime, you can find Saitama's name, さいたま. Hey, you can already pronounce the first three kana. Maybe you can answer the last kana. If you like young ladies, you can find Saitama. Fuji Asuka あすか, you can already read it! By analogy, just treat it like a game and try to find it as much as possible

The next day, review the first four lines and then memorize the next four lines. Don’t worry about whether your pronunciation is wrong. Why do you pronounce it so well? It's strange. You can only read but not write. Look up at our goal and tell me what our goal is? No matter if the pronunciation is wrong, no matter if it sounds like Taijun in the anti-Japanese film, whoever dares to question you will throw your N2 certificate in his face and tell him: I passed the N2 test in three months, what about you. So just study by yourself and don’t care what others say. If you don’t study because your reading is not up to standard, you will never learn anything in your life.

On the third day, you will memorize less, so just review as hard as you can. Review while looking for kana, and tell yourself that it’s the last day, and you must memorize it today. If you don’t memorize it, you won’t be able to memorize it tonight. Go to sleep.

After three days, if you do what I say, you will definitely memorize the fifty tones...

Really? How is it possible? You don't have the strongest brain. You can memorize most of the holiday after three days. I'll be thankful if you can memorize half of the holiday. For the remaining small part that you haven't memorized, just spend another week slowly memorizing it. Memorize it while studying the text. If you encounter something you don't know, just look it up. No teacher will scold you for being so stupid. Remember, the most you can do is scold yourself a few words, and then you can learn from it.

Why do I want you to complete such an almost impossible task? Because I want you to feel the first step in creating a miracle. You will feel unwilling to face failure, and you can only think hard and work hard. This kind of emotion will only be born when you want to get corresponding rewards. With this unwillingness, you can further tap your potential and create your own miracles.

2. Exam Tools

To pass this exam, you must understand it well and then study in a targeted manner according to the exam standards.

I won’t copy and paste some nonsense that can be found on the official website for you. Let’s go directly to the topic. If you don’t understand, you can save it first and wait until you get the real test paper mentioned later. Check again.

First of all, open Taobao and search for Japanese N2 past papers (really asked questions! No simulation questions or prediction questions, we only write real questions). If you find a white independent booklet, buy a set immediately (here There is no industry and commerce, so there are no pictures. You can see it if you search. By the way, when I first bought it, I could buy up to 17 copies. Now it seems that there are only 13 copies, but it is enough), don’t ask, 50 Just buy it. The real questions are required. You have already spent 550 to register. Do you still care about the 50 yuan?

As for the textbooks, you don’t need to ask me which one I recommend. The only principle is that the one that suits you is the best. If you are a student, then you make a lot of money. You can go to the library every time. Read this Japanese textbook one by one, and look for those that start with the fifty tones of Japanese. Flip through it casually. Believe in yourself and find one that you like that is interesting. I recommend it to many people who have learned it over and over again. This is Xiao Li. What's the point of going to Japan? Just pick one that won't make you fall asleep.

I am using this one, mainly because there are few words and many pictures in it. It is not tiring to read. In fact, the contents of the two volumes combined are not enough, but the core principle of the textbook is that it must be If you like to read it, and you are willing to read it as a novel, it is the best teaching material

If you are not a student and cannot choose the teaching materials casually, as a standard player, you will not understand anything and will not know anything. You can't modify the game configuration yourself, so you can only choose the most standard configuration Yellow Book Standard Japanese.

"Everyone's Japanese" is all in Japanese, so novices can't read it without the guidance of a teacher. But to be honest, the content of Standard Japanese is old-fashioned and unrealistic. But if you find an instructor, he will probably recommend this book, because you will not make a mistake by recommending this book, and it will save you a lot of trouble in the future. But I will only talk about one criterion for selecting teaching materials here. You must like it and be motivated to read it.

1. Listening

Now you can start preparing for listening. Open NetEase Cloud Music on your mobile phone, search for Japanese reading, select the first one, listen in the background, and wear headphones throughout the process. In addition to necessary communication with people, your ears should be full of Japanese. This is an important part of quick learning. It is commonly known as sharpening your ears. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand.

But there is a key misunderstanding here. Many people will think, is it okay for me to listen to Japanese songs?

It’s different. I suggest you listen to readings at normal speed, or short sentences accelerated by advertising slogans, because these are terms that can be heard in life, and songs have been artistically processed, and there are words produced in them. There are a lot of voice changes and background interference, so it is not suitable for listening practice. (If you really don’t want to listen to the story, then sorry, you can only listen to it for three days and wait for your express delivery to arrive, and then start listening to the real questions directly. You will feel that the stories told by these voice actors are still very good)

< p>Listening is the top priority of the entire exam!

Listening is the top priority of the entire exam! !

Listening is the top priority of the entire exam! ! !

Therefore, we must pay attention to breaking through him from the beginning. If you do well in listening, you will win half of the exam.

Here is the score division of the Japanese language test:

The full score is 180, divided into three parts of 60 points each: word grammar, reading, and listening. If any part of it is not reached A score of 19 will result in failure, and a total score of 90 is required to pass. This means that you must not have any obvious disadvantages, but you must also score as many points as possible in each module.

This is something that everyone knows on the bright side. What many people don’t know is that the Japanese language proficiency test is taken by people all over the world except Japanese, and there are many differences between Chinese and Japanese. We have similar places, so we have an advantage. Our advantage is reflected in reading. The accuracy rate of Chinese people in reading will be much higher, because we can guess the meaning of many Japanese and Chinese characters, and everyone’s vocabulary and listening skills are different. They are all very close, even our hearing is not as good as other foreigners.

There is another important knowledge. The scoring mechanism of the Japanese language test is Japan’s unique deviation value algorithm. Students who often watch Japanese dramas may know that the meaning of this deviation value algorithm is how many of you are right? The score must be high. If you make more mistakes, the score will not necessarily be low. If it is a difficult question and there are many people who are wrong, no points will be deducted for this question. If it is a simple question and you are the only one who is wrong, a lot of points will be deducted. So what we need to do is make up for our shortcomings, and less points will be scored.

The most efficient way to improve scores among these three modules is listening (but listening is the most difficult part to improve. This contradiction may not be easy to understand). Listening is the part that requires the most time to study. The method is As mentioned above, listening to stories + listening to real test questions, what is the level of listening? After listening to it dozens of times, you can read along in Japanese. After listening for several months, can you memorize all the contents of the real listening test? Now, there is another elusive goal: you can speak Japanese in your dream.

2. Reading

N2 reading is not difficult for Chinese people, so you can rest assured that this can be improved through the accumulation of reading. Here is a good way And a strange move, as the old saying goes, soldiers must use the right combination to win with surprise.

The best way is to memorize the text and read extracurricular books. The text is the part that you will definitely find in the textbook you buy. Just memorize it and you will be done. Through memorization, you can enhance your understanding of the article. After you finish studying the textbook every day, you can memorize the text for that day. Today’s work is done today.

For extracurricular books, you can find some Japanese historical story books, Japanese essays, or just click to download Hujiang Xiao D. There are articles updated every day, and there are many current affairs news such as Ishihara Satomi’s wedding. , Trump’s infection and the like, it’s very interesting to watch.

And when reading in Hujiang Xiao D, if you encounter a word you don’t understand, you can just click on it to see the meaning. Don’t hesitate, just read it. What you need is to quickly understand the article, and don’t spend too long on some words. Time, and you are also memorizing the words when you read the meaning. The second time you read the meaning of the same word, you will feel the familiarity. The third time you will have an impression, and the fifth time you will remember the word. , so just read a lot.

The above is the right way, and many qualified teachers will be willing to tell you the method. The following is a strange trick, a wild way that cannot be learned in formal schools.

That is to go out and read what the Japanese say and write. As for the meaning of going out, both physical going out and magical going out are fine. It depends on your own conditions. Here I only talk about magical going out, but Don’t teach magic. If you want to learn magic, find your own way.

Everyone has more or less opportunities to learn Japanese. For example, senior anime and game nerds want to learn Japanese. For example, Sugata Masaki is so handsome and wants to learn Japanese. For example, Aragaki Yui is my wife and wants to learn Japanese. , for example, I posted with VTB that I want to learn Japanese... Okay, now that the opportunity has come, treat it as if you are their boyfriend/girlfriend. After following them, carefully read every tweet and every video, and treat it like this. I’m telling you all this. After all, the fastest way to learn a language is to fall in love across languages, because in love, you will try your best to understand what the other person is saying, and you will rack your brains to think. How to reply, now that you have changed from the recipient of language to the user of language, try leaving them a message. (Be careful not to overdo it, just say one sentence for each tweet or video)

If you are really a Muggle and can’t use magic, then open station b, the live broadcast has virtual In the anchor area, there are Japanese anchors who can speak in Japanese throughout. It is also a good choice for you to use as a listening station. After following it, you can see their tweets and what they say, which is very close to life, although these terms are not used in the N2 exam. You won't be able to pass it in high school, but it can greatly increase your interest in reading.

I need to say here, will anime and Japanese dramas help me pass N2?

The answer is definitely yes, but looking at our goals, there is not enough time for you to watch Japanese TV series and anime in three months. Time is precious and must be used in more critical areas. If you insist on watching it, let me give you a priority: cooked meat with bilingual subtitles > raw meat without subtitles > Japanese drama > anime. Japanese dramas are closer to life than anime lines, and most of the scenes on the stage are real. So the learning effect is better than animation.

3. Word Grammar Chapter

Do you want to memorize it? Definitely have to carry it. Will you spend a lot of time on this? It’s best not to memorize words and grammar. The more you memorize words and grammar, the less likely you are to memorize them. Do you know how many students take CET-4 and give in every day, always memorizing the words? It’s true that they spend a lot of time memorizing words, but it’s useless. So how to break this embarrassing situation where memorizing words is said to be important but is useless?

That is, don’t memorize words alone. Think about it, is there no word list except at the back of the textbook? Can you recall how many words we have memorized to become able to speak and write Chinese? So how do we remember so many words and continue to create new ones? No one should buy a book like a dictionary of Internet buzzwords, no, no, no.

That’s right, the method is in our hearts, and we will learn it if we use it. So to memorize words, you only need to memorize the words at the back of the textbook. You can fill in the rest of the vocabulary with reading. , you make up part of the conversation with your idol, and part of the listening part.

Another secret skill is to create a native Japanese environment for yourself. After all, not everyone has the conditions to go out physically. If there are no conditions, then we can create one ourselves. How to create? Close your eyes, imagine that you are in Japan, imagine that the classmates around you are all Japanese, they all speak Japanese, and you also speak Japanese, making everything become normal...

Open your eyes (目覚めて) and look at what you are holding (手にholdつものをみてください). What is this? (これは偯?) It’s your mobile phone (これはだ)

Okay, the meaning of this operation is to let you see everything (everything, including billboards, warning slogans, flowers and plants) Fish, insects, vegetation, animals and birds...) are all translated into Japanese, but can't they be translated? Didn’t you download Hujiang Xiao D just now? Just check it. When you say a word, you think about how to say it in Japanese. When others say something, you also translate it in your mind. Of course, you will encounter many new words. You look up a new word, and then use the word immediately. Then you have an impression of the word, and you can remember it after repeating it a few times. This is my method of memorizing words. At first, because I have a small vocabulary, I may have to use a translator for a whole sentence. But as my vocabulary increases later, you will find that you can say more and more words, and even Spoken language is no problem.

For grammar, you can read the Blue Book, but the most important thing is not to let you memorize all 200 grammar points required for the N2 exam (again, we are not the strongest brains, how can we remember it) Ah), you just need to get a general impression to let you understand: Oh - so what I want to say can be said like this, that's it. You just need to focus on the 12 verb conjugations and the honorific part. Just take a look at the general meaning. Japanese people don’t even understand honorific. I am only responsible for letting you pass N2 quickly, so you only need to know what honorific is. , whatever it looks like will be fine.

Now that we know the methods of each part, our advance preparation has come to an end. Now let’s arrange this time to create the miracle of passing Japanese N2 in three months!

3. Time

Our time schedule needs to be calculated in stages backwards. Set aside the last month to study real questions and the first two months to read textbooks (Xiao Li is an ideal person, but we will encounter various things, such as oversleeping, having many classes today, being in a bad mood, etc., so You can extend part of the time appropriately by yourself)

How will you go about the learning path ahead?

First of all, you immediately bought the real test questions and textbooks from Taobao (or borrowed the textbooks, long live prostitution), prepared Hujiang Xiao D and NetEase Cloud Music on your mobile phone, and started to polish your ears. Listening training.

From now on, I will only give myself three days to memorize all the fifty tones. On the fourth day, I can start studying the textbooks (express delivery is so convenient now, everything will arrive in three days, don’t look for it anyway) Just use an excuse to procrastinate. Even if the book hasn’t arrived, you can still watch the video on Station B and learn the first lesson first.) If you haven't finished learning the fifty tones, use them as Little Tigers decryption cards to read the text.

You have been listening to Japanese for three days during this period. Anyway, you still don’t understand what it is saying, but it’s not a big problem.

Our two-month study time has quality requirements. Because it is self-study, you don’t have to think about learning and memorizing all the knowledge points like the teacher. Those things cannot be quantified. It is easy for you to lose yourself while learning, so I will help you quantify your learning goals.

Japanese N2 requires mastering twelve verb conjugations, 200 items of grammar, and more than 6,000 vocabulary words. Don’t be stupid and memorize these things. You only need to follow the textbooks you selected and learn two in a day. Course content, insist on 60 days, a total of 120 lessons, that’s enough. Then refer to the syllabus to see what you haven’t learned and then make up for it. For example, if you don’t know honorifics, make up for two days. If you don’t know imperative forms, Just make up for one day and check for leaks and fill in the gaps.

How can I tell if I have really learned this lesson? There are too many exercises at the end, so don’t write them. You have to do two things. The first thing is to find the grammatical knowledge taught in this lesson, which is the fixed sentence patterns and transformations, and memorize them. It is best to write them down silently. Then use white paper to cover the Japanese words. You watch Chinese is written silently in Japanese on it. Another thing is to memorize the text. You have to memorize it every day. Memorize one lesson at a time. The first text is usually very short and it doesn’t take long to memorize it. The later texts start to get longer and you will be a little tired to memorize them. , so it’s best to memorize more in the front to buy time for the back.

You can feel these things yourself if you cannot memorize them or write them down silently, so you know whether you have learned them or not. Even if you missed it because you didn’t have enough time, you were too tired today and didn’t memorize it, etc., don’t look back. Leave yourself a little more time the next day, solve the tasks of the day first, and then go back and make up for the tasks of the previous day.

Never stop. Once you stop, it will be difficult to start again. You can rest, but make sure that even if you rest, you will only learn less and relax, rather than not watching at all. Take a look.

Don’t stop listening during this period. As long as you are maintaining necessary social functions, Japanese will be heard in your headphones.

After you study for a week, you can say some complete sentences. Congratulations on this exciting moment. You can start reading outside class. However, articles that are too long are still completely incomprehensible. If you don’t understand, you can read some short sentences, such as how to say happy birthday, how to say happy new year, what my husband/wife said today, what can I reply to him using my lifelong learning, it’s okay to use a translator to complete it .

In the second week, you have learned more and know more words. You have enough words and phrases to reserve. Start creating your native language environment. Follow the above steps. Say, turn everything around you into Japanese. During this period, the number of words will increase rapidly, and you will also encounter bottlenecks, because you have not learned a lot of grammar and cannot express it, so if possible, put what happens every day Write a Japanese diary (you can use a translator for words you don’t know), and then ask a teacher for help, or someone who knows Japanese around you to help (if that doesn’t work, you can pretend to learn Japanese and take the diary you wrote to take the teacher test in those Japanese cram schools. It’s ok, there are always more solutions than difficulties), you can already understand some of the simplest Japanese texts, and you can also understand half of your husband/wife’s tweets and even guess what they are talking about, keep up the good work

In the third week, you can already write a short composition for primary school students. This is a great progress. Remember to save the first article you wrote (as your black history waiting for you to pass N2 Look back later~), remember to check whether your listening and reading have stagnated, and whether you insist on memorizing the text seriously. You will not realize that your progress can be so fast.

In the fourth week, if you have been insisting on it, you have developed your own study habits. Your study rhythm may be different from what I described. This is normal. Just make sure your progress is consistent. Learning is a matter of course. If you are slow, don’t be discouraged. Just adjust your time and status and catch up later. If you progress faster than I said, then Congratulations, and I hope you won’t be complacent. Like the tortoise and the hare, a long journey has no light burden, and a journey of a hundred miles is half a mile. Our goal is not over yet.

After the first month, take out the real questions we bought and write a set. Don’t squeeze time for yourself, just finish it.

I know that most people don’t have the strength to do the real questions at this time, so it’s normal to write horribly. Then you have to write. Only when you write will you know how big the gap is between you and passing. As long as you directly Only by looking at your own shortcomings can you grow beyond the past. Don't worry that such a messy test paper is simply a waste. What is waste? It's a waste if you haven't finished writing these papers before the exam! It's a real waste to have to buy another test paper if you don't pass it the first time.

In the second month, after knowing your own gap, study harder. In fact, you don’t have to worry at all. 120 hours of study is enough for you to pass the exam, but only the periodic test summary can find out. Your own shortcomings, otherwise you will get lost in the continuous learning. The daily process is still the same as before, but you can do more things, you can understand many articles, and you can even fully understand Twitter several times. , your reply is no longer just a simple agreement, but you can reply with relevant content based on the content you posted, and maybe you will also be liked by the person himself. This is the joy of learning a language, watching yourself grow from teeth to teeth. Xueyu gradually grew up, and finally I was able to overcome the language barrier and share the same feelings with everyone. Isn’t it worth all the hard work ahead?

After a long period of listening and reciting, you go back to listen to the stories you listened to when you first sharpened your ears, and you find that you can actually understand some of them, and you can also laugh when you watch some Japanese jokes. Okay, this feeling is really wonderful.

The reason why Kong Yiji is called Kong Yiji (いち) is because he is ranked the eldest. If he is ranked seventh, he will be called Kong Nana (なな)

Because the time is approaching and As the density of knowledge learned increases, the second month will feel faster. After the second month, remember to write another real test paper. I believe you will be more confident in facing this set of test papers.

Maybe the result is still terrible, but it doesn’t matter what the result is. Just take a three-day break and keep reading and listening every day. (You can also seize the time to watch a drama? Bring a private product with you. I recommend watching it. A Japanese drama "Dragon Sakura" tells the story of how a scumbag managed to counterattack and get admitted to Tokyo University. It is very inspiring and touching. Moreover, you are doing the same thing as them. If you succeed, you will also become famous in the eyes of others. Legend)

Have a good rest, the next is the last month of hellish intensive special training.

In the last month, practice the real questions, practice the real questions, practice the real questions. There is only one thing. We bought the real test papers three months ago. We still have 13 copies of the real test papers left. About 10 copies are written in a two-day cycle. On the morning of the first day, continue to listen and read outside class. Set aside three hours in the afternoon to conduct a mock test according to the timetable and the exam time. The time test will make you more adaptable to the exam environment (it will also allow you to avoid my mistakes. If you can't go to the toilet for three hours, you will really have to cry, so you have to train in advance to hold in your urine). Answer, correct the wrong questions yourself, and continue to listen to the real questions of this test paper in the evening. The real questions must be listened to again, again, and again.

The next day, carefully solve every wrong question written yesterday. The answers in the white test booklet recommended above are all analyzed, and the reading and listening are also translated. Every time you solve a question, You will get one more point in the exam. Every mistake is a treasure and a life-saving straw for you. Believe me, quantitative changes will definitely lead to qualitative changes.

You need to have a goal when doing the questions. Our goal is to pass N2, so just half the correct rate is enough? wrong! If you just want to pass, then set the goal at 110 points. If you want to be as high as possible, then set the goal at 150 points. During practice, make yourself jump up to reach this goal.

Yes, long live sixty points, one more point is wasted. Many people think this way, but the amazing thing is that people who think this way are often the ones who fail the exam in the end, because "the one who sticks to the best will get the middle, and the one who sticks to the middle will get the lowest." Your goal is 100 points, You may only be able to score more than 90 points in the test. If your goal is 80 points, you may just pass. If your goal is 60 points, then there is a high probability that you will fail the exam in the end. If the goal is low, you will be careless. Only if the goal is higher Only high people will have a sense of crisis.

4. The moment to witness the miracle - the final exam

The test papers should be written one week before the exam. In the last week, you should have finished all the test papers. You have almost learned what you need to learn. Think about this period of time. You went from being a layman who didn’t know Japanese at all, learning Japanese from scratch, to memorizing the fifty tones, to being able to understand articles and even communicate with others. Conversations with your idols, and you are about to enter the examination room at the end. The pain of memorizing the text along the way, the confusion and ridicule of others, and the joy of being able to understand Japanese. These experiences will help you in the examination room. Just believe in yourself.

In addition to listening to real questions (you don’t need to listen to stories) and reading Japanese articles during this time, you can also do other things, such as joining a subtitle group and trying to help translate, such as your husband /After your wife posts on Twitter, you can explain the content to other people who don’t understand, then look at the wrong questions, go to the exam room early to check out the test points, and spend this last week leisurely.

For the final exam, arrive at the exam room early and give yourself plenty of time to get familiar with it. Along the way, you can use your vocabulary to name everything you see. Now you Just tell yourself that you are ready.

Of course, you don’t need to be nervous at all, because you have only studied for three months, okay? Just like what I said at the top of the article after finishing the exam, if you succeed in such a short time, you will be 666 created A miraculous genius, it doesn't matter if you haven't passed the exam. Anyway, it only took me so little time to pass the exam. It's too normal, so just calm down. Besides, you have practiced so many times, so you are familiar with it. You are more prepared than others for the time test.

But I still have to say, regarding listening, even if you have listened to it for three months, you have listened to the real questions countless times. Due to the sound quality of the examination room and the large classroom, you will not be able to hear anything. Normally, there are people who cry after the listening test every year, but you also have to listen carefully to the end. Do you remember what we said before about the scoring criteria for the N2 test? Deviation value, if everyone is wrong, you will not be deducted points if you are wrong. Points will be deducted only if you are wrong for questions that everyone is right, so with your three months of unremitting listening training, you can at least listen to simple questions. If you come out, that's enough. Just do your part well, and then just plan for people and succeed in heaven.

5. Postscript - Some words about this exam

N2 is a watershed in Japanese learning. Many places require at least N2 to recruit people, but this does not mean N2 That’s enough. I just say that with the N2 certificate, at least you can study by yourself. The pass rate of Japanese N2 is around 40% every year, which is not low at all, but it can still be recognized, because at least if you insist on Japanese N2 It requires three months of effective study time. This is a Japanese language usage certificate, which means that you are qualified to use Japanese.

But do you know? The entry level for Japanese is N1, because Japanese is a typical language that starts out easy and then gets more and more difficult. Various verb conjugations, various honorifics, various simplified forms, and various Internet buzzwords are about as difficult as Chinese. Don’t Because you think you know Japanese after passing N2, this path is not enough.

And if you follow my method to quickly learn Japanese N2, you will most likely pass the exam, but the consequence is that you learn too fast and have not laid a solid foundation. The further you go, the better. The harder it is, this is also the dilemma I am facing in my current Japanese learning, because the skills I strengthened in order to pass N2 are all in listening and reading, and learning a language requires listening, speaking, reading and writing. Although I will later I supplemented the speaking part by volunteering for Japanese students at school, but the writing piece still requires a lot of time to practice, so passing this exam does not mean the end, but a new beginning.

I am writing this article just to share my own learning experience. There are inevitably some omissions in the methods. I would also like to ask teachers and users to provide suggestions, which will be greatly appreciated.
