In case of subsurface water gushing, ditch can be adopted to isolate the water source and lead the diving to the outside of the subgrade for discharge.

(2) When repairing the slope of filled embankment, the original slope should be dug into a step shape, and then compacted by layers, and it should be smoothly connected with the original slope.

(3) If there are gaps, gullies, subsidence, cave-in, landslides, or floods, rivers and ditches, the slope protection measures such as planting grass, spreading turf, planting bushes, placing gabions, dry-laying or mortar-laying flaky should be adopted for reinforcement according to the water flow, soil quality and slope gradient.
