Xushui District's 2022 Military Service Registration Announcement

In accordance with the "Military Service Law of the People's Republic of China", "Regulations on Military Recruitment" and other relevant regulations, in order to comprehensively carry out the 2022 annual military service registration in our district Regarding the military service registration work, the relevant matters are now announced as follows:

1. According to the "Military Service Law of the People's Republic of China", all male young people with permanent residence in our county shall be registered until December 31, 2022. Male young people over the age of 18 must register for military service on the National Military Recruitment Network.

2. From the date of the announcement of military service registration, all young people of military age must rely on the National Military Recruitment Network and adopt a combination of self-registration and assisted registration, voluntary registration and compulsory registration. The armed forces departments in each township have set up military service registration stations, and will focus on assisting young draftees in registering for military service starting from January 1.

3. Starting from January 1, young people of appropriate age must register for military service on their own through the "National Military Recruitment Network". The specific steps are:

① First log in to the "National Military Recruitment Network" and follow the prompts on the webpage to register for military service.

② Young people of school age who do not have the conditions for online registration can apply to have the staff of the Military Service Registration Station assist them in registration, print out relevant forms, and keep their login user name and password.

③After completing the military service registration, the Military Service Registration Station of the Township Armed Forces Department will issue a "Military Service Registration Certificate" to young people of appropriate age.

④ Young people of school age who cannot register due to special reasons can also entrust their parents to bring relevant materials to the military service registration station to request assistance in registration.

⑤ After completing the online military service registration, young people of appropriate age who are willing to join the military can directly select "Continue to register for recruitment". Young people of appropriate age who are not willing to join the military can choose "Only register for military service" to complete the military service registration for that year.

⑥ Young people of school age who have registered for military service in previous years can directly register and verify through the "National Military Recruitment Network" and bring their "Military Service Registration Certificate" to the military service registration station in their township for on-site confirmation.

4. Before January 10, all township military service registration stations will check the registration status of eligible youths for military service one by one against the household registration list of eligible youths provided by the public security department. Any young people of school age who have not participated in military service registration within the time specified in this announcement shall supervise the registration at each military service registration station, or apply for assistance in registration and explain the reasons at the military service registration station of the Armed Forces Department in the township where the household registration is located. If young people of school age refuse or evade military service registration, they will be ordered by the district-level people's government to make corrections within a time limit. If they fail to make corrections within the time limit, they will be held legally responsible according to law.

5. Young people of appropriate age can log on to the "National Recruitment Network" to learn about relevant information about recruitment and registration, or they can also consult the township armed forces department.
