Overview of Qian'an Dadi

Qian'an City is located in the northeast of Hebei Province, at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, on the bank of the Luanhe River. It is located between 118°26' and 118°55' east longitude, and between 39°51' and 40°15' north latitude. It spans 39 kilometers from east to west and 45 kilometers from north to south. It has a warm temperate, semi-humid monsoon climate. The average temperature throughout the year is 11.5 degrees. The annual precipitation is 711.9 mm. There are 2292.5 hours of sunshine throughout the year, and the frost-free period is 198 days.

Qian'an is located in the first-level economic development zone around the Bohai Sea and Beijing and Tianjin. It is about 200 kilometers away from the two major cities of Beijing and Tianjin in the west, and only more than 80 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao and Tangshan. The Jingqin, Daqin, and Tongtuo railways run across the country from east to west, and the Beishui railway connects the north and south. There are 7 passenger and cargo stations and 6 special railway lines in the territory, with an annual transportation capacity of 12 million tons. Five newly built highways, including the Beijing-Shenyang Expressway and National Highway 102, form a transportation network extending in all directions. For shipping, there are three major sea ports: Qinhuangdao Port and Jingtang Port, which are more than 80 kilometers apart, and Tianjin Xingang, which is 200 kilometers apart. Five large enterprises including Shougang Qiangang and Hebei Qianhua are located in Qian'an.

In Qian'an, Lizhi County was established in the 26th year of the Qin Dynasty (221 BC), and was renamed Qian'an County in the 7th year of Dading (1167 AD). The county-level system lasted for 2217 years. In October 1996, with the approval of the State Council, Qian'an County was revoked and Qian'an City was established. It currently governs 20 towns and villages (offices) and 533 administrative villages, with a total area of ??1,208 square kilometers and a population of 680,000. After more than 20 years of reform and opening up, Qian'an's economy has ranked first among the top 20 in Hebei Province, and its fiscal revenue ranks first in Hebei Province. A modern emerging city with scientific planning, complete facilities and complete functions is emerging.

Qian'an has a long history and many cultural relics and historic sites. The bone needles and awls excavated at the Zhaocun site and the "ancient rhombodont" unearthed in Yangjiapo are extremely rare. Little is known about the marble Great Wall that winds its way to the top of Yanshan Mountain. The newly developed Shitigou ecological agriculture tour, Lingshan tour, Longshan tour and Baiyangyu tour have become sunrise industries that increase income.

Qian'an is rich in mineral resources. There are more than 20 types of mineral deposits that have been proven, of which the total iron ore reserves are 2.8 billion tons. It is known as "Iron Qian'an". The reserve of high-quality limestone is 400 million tons, and the reserve of dolomite is 1 billion tons. Mineral resources such as granite marble, nickel, magnesium, copper, gold, bentonite, and quartz have good development prospects.
