Brief introduction of Putonghua promotion activities

September 14-20, 2020 is the 23rd National Publicity Week for Putonghua Promotion. In order to better promote the school's language and writing work and improve the standard of Putonghua of teachers and students, the teaching and research section vigorously publicized and mobilized activities around the publicity theme during this publicity week.

During the popularization week, our school hung banners to promote Putonghua, so as to enhance the awareness of teachers and students in learning and promoting Putonghua. Our school uses scrolling screen to publicize "Pay attention to language, please use standardized Chinese characters"! Encourage all students to speak Mandarin, write standardized words and be civilized people.

Promote Putonghua by raising the national flag on Monday, speaking under the national flag and swearing by teachers and students. Use the class meeting time to hold a class meeting with the theme of popularization to learn the national laws on common language and the national policies on language and writing. Strengthen the study of popularizing knowledge and emphasize the importance of popularization.

The characteristics of Putonghua pronunciation are as follows: the initials have no voiced sound except the fricative sound, nasal sound and marginal sound behind the tip of the tongue; Vowels are polyphonic, and nasal vowels are divided into two types: front and back; Initial consonants have no voiced opposition, no entering rhyme, sharp combined sound flow, few tones, simple mode, soft voice and nursery rhymes.
