The drainage technology of kilometer vertical shaft ranks first in China. The natural water inflow in Panxi Mine is large, and the original three-stage drainage system has been unable to adapt to the expansion of mine scale and waterproof and disaster-resistant ability, resulting in a lot of waste of manpower, material resources and financial resources. The annual drainage fee alone is as high as180,000 yuan. In order to change this situation, Panxi Coal Mine has carried out the research and application of the drainage technology of 1000-meter vertical shaft, and learned from others. From design to construction, quality inspection to safety measures, the best is selected. Imported high-flow and high-lift pumps are used to directly discharge the water with the level of -740 to the ground, and the lift 1079.7 meters is the highest in China. Since the successful operation of the system on June 18, 2002, the drainage cost has been saved by nearly 2.7 million yuan, which has improved the economic benefits of the mine. At the same time, the application of this drainage technology has greatly enhanced the mine drainage disaster resistance and provided a strong guarantee for safe production.

Panxi Mine, together with China University of Mining and Technology, Shandong University of Science and Technology and other scientific research institutions, has carried out the research and application of more than 80 technical achievements 180, such as key technologies with high difficulty, high yield and high efficiency, prevention and control of coal dust explosion and gas control, comprehensive control technology of Ordovician limestone water in mines, zero defect management, value management and safety informatization, among which 34 have reached the domestic leading level.
In the transformation of power supply system, the 35KV power supply line was changed from Laiwu Bridge 1 10KV step-down station to Laiwu Qishan 220KV step-down station. Through transformation and treatment, the problem of insufficient power supply in the mine is solved, which provides a strong power for the safe operation of the mine. At the same time, the power supply system of 6/4KV electric lighting was reformed, and the energy-saving transformer was put into operation. According to the optimized operation mode, the step-down station, No.1 well, auxiliary well and Gongrencun substation have high power consumption transformers, but they are only used as cold standby. Therefore, all seven power distribution stations use energy-saving transformers. After calculation, the annual operation loss of transformers in the optimized seven distribution stations is 57 1 16KWh, and the annual electricity consumption is 25,702.20 yuan, which is 5536 kWh less than that before optimization, and the annual electricity consumption is 249 12.45 yuan, which has achieved good economic benefits.

Since the construction of Panxi Mine, blasting mining and high-grade conventional mining have been used, which have high labor intensity, low labor efficiency and low safety factor. To this end, actively explore the use of new technologies and new equipment. First, the application of fully mechanized mining technology with large dip angle. In the process of installation and use, in view of the present situation of large dip angle of coal seam, nearly 20 preventive measures have been taken successively, such as connecting the top support, injecting liquid into the lower support, installing anti-falling devices in different areas, strictly operating procedures, adjusting the false dip angle in time, and keeping the jack vertical to the conveyor.
