Shantou Chaoyang traffic police formulate a traffic diversion plan during peak hours to strengthen traffic command and order maintenance

In order to ensure safe and smooth travel during the Spring Festival travel period, Chaoyang traffic police have formulated traffic diversion plans to strengthen traffic command and order maintenance around key areas, road sections and peak hours prone to congestion.

Diversion plan

Adopt temporary traffic control and diversion plan for the following road sections

1. Dongshan Park section in Chaoyang City: from January 22 to February 10 (i.e. from the 28th to the 17th day of the twelfth lunar month), temporary one-way driving will be implemented on the road in front of Dongshan Park, that is, small and larger passenger cars can only drive from Runze Villa to the direction of Runze Jinyuan on Zhongshan East Road (from north to south) .

2. Haimen Lianhuafeng Scenic Area Section: From January 25th to January 31st (i.e. the first to seventh day of the first lunar month), vehicles going to Lianhuafeng Park will be temporarily driven in one direction and enter from the park entrance. Pass through Haimen Bay Hotel-Haizhongheng Road-Yingbin Road.

3. The section from Xilubomei to Qingshan is closed due to construction. Passing vehicles are asked to detour to the Pugu Line.

Road surface optimization

Intensify the implementation of traffic signs and line markings to optimize traffic patterns, and implement five major projects at the Chaoting Huafu intersection, Beiguanwei intersection, Zhongxin intersection and Niangzi’an intersection. The east-west direction of the intersection; the east-to-west direction of the Beiguan intersection and the Liuyuan intersection; the west-to-east direction of the Jinye intersection. *** Eight intersections and 13 directions will change the original left-turn lanes to left-turn and straight-bound traffic to increase the efficiency of through-train traffic.
