Poems praising revolutionary martyrs in Chongqing White House Pavilion

please note that it is not "Baishan Pavilion", but "Baishan Pavilion"! During the Republic of China, Baishan Pavilion was described as a top-secret prison. Up to now, Baishan Pavilion is most proud that no prisoner escaped from Baishan Pavilion alive. According to legend, only the dead came out of Baishan Pavilion. The detention mode of Baishan Pavilion is also designed by American prison experts. The practice of heavy security is one of the guarantees to put an end to all prison breaks, and the management system of Baishan Pavilion is also an almost abnormal management system drifting between barbarism and false civilization. In the TV series "Youth Blindness", the prototype of the Baishan Pavilion is the White Mansion. Baigongguan, located in Chongqing, was originally the villa of Sichuan warlord Baiju, hence its name. In 1939, the Kuomintang Military Bureau converted this place into a prison, and in 1943, the Sino-American Cooperation Institute was changed into the first prison. The prison is backed by Gele Mountain, surrounded by high walls and dense power grids, and there are sentry boxes and bunkers on the commanding heights outside the walls. The gate is closed all year round, and only a small door is opened on the side to communicate with the outside world. There are 2 cells in the prison. Baigongguan is located in the suburb of Shapingba, Chongqing. It was originally a suburban villa of Sichuan warlord Baiju. Since 1938, it has been used as a secret prison by the Kuomintang secret service. Huang Xiansheng, a patriotic general against Japan, Zhou Junshi, president of Tongji University, Liao Chengzhi, a patriot, Song Qiyun, party member, Xu Linxia and his youngest son "Little Radish Head" were imprisoned here. The famous novel "Red Rock" reproduces the cruel and horrible imprisonment life in the prison and the firm belief of the revolutionaries. At most, more than 2 "political prisoners" were held here. In 1939, Dai Li, the head of the military spy, chose him as the detention center directly under the headquarters of the military spy bureau for the sake of keeping the interrogation and detention confidential. The gate of the former White Mansion was closed all day, and it entered and exited through a small door on the side. The original storage room was changed into a dungeon, and the original air-raid shelter was changed into a torture hole. On the wall of the hospital, there are slogans such as "be faithful in thinking, make up for it by retreating" and "be true to your friendship without seeking benefits, and be clear about your ways without paying attention to your merits". After the establishment of the Sino-American Cooperation Office in 1943, Bai Mansion was changed into a guest house for American soldiers coming to China, and was re-closed as a special detention center in 1945. On the eve of liberation, besides more than 2 "political prisoners" such as Huang Xiansheng and Xu Xiaoxuan who were detained after the abolition of the ex-dividend prison, there were also 3 anti-Japanese patriotic generals Huang Xiansheng, Zhou Conghua, Zhou Junshi and Zhang Ze who were sent to the second detention center in Hangyuan, Chongqing, and Zhou Junshi, president of Tongji University, patriot Liao Chengzhi, party member Song Qiyun, Xu Linxia and their youngest son "Little Robtou". The famous novel "Red Rock" reproduces the cruel and horrible imprisonment life in the prison and the firm belief of the revolutionaries. At most, more than 2 "political prisoners" were held here. Bai Mansion is a revolutionary relic that reminds future generations of the heroic spirit and sighs for it. Friends who travel to Chongqing must not miss it.
