Shanghai Heping Eye Hospital was established in February 2002. It is the first modern ophthalmology hospital in Shanghai that integrates medical treatment, scientific research and teaching. It is a joint-stock specialized hospital jointly operated by Shanghai Commercial Investment Enterprise Group and Eye, Otolaryngology Hospital affiliated to Fudan University. It is also a designated hospital for medical insurance in Shanghai, and also a specialized hospital recommended by the Record of Oriental Famous Doctors edited by Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. The hospital is located next to Quyang Business Center in Hongkou, with an existing construction area of 6,600 square meters and 82 beds.
