Specific content: The Chinese language group will select excellent content according to the list of literary classics that middle school students must read after class stipulated by the Ministry of Education, and organize and implement it every year. On this basis, senior high schools should combine Chinese elective courses to guide students to read selected readings of essays of pre-Qin philosophers, selected readings of ancient China poems, appreciation of foreign poems and novels, etc. Junior high school mainly chooses Tang Poetry and Song Poetry and some simple classical Chinese prose. The Chinese teacher guides reading in a unified way and introduces the background and essence of the article. Guide students to read independently, learn to summarize the main points, understand the theme, learn to circle and write marginal notes, learn to extract main points and wonderful paragraphs, and write good reading notes. The publication of Guzhangyuan by the school literature society should report the progress in time and publish excellent books with students' reading notes.

(2) Organize teachers and students to watch CCTV's "Lecture Room" program, especially the lectures on history and literature, and ask them to take notes carefully and write their own feelings. The class teacher should fully assist in the work. Any teacher who is a head teacher should take part in activities and become one of the instructors. (3) Let all teachers and students watch CCTV's "Noon News" or "News Network" every day to comment on current events, cultivate teachers and students' good habits of caring about national affairs and the national economy and people's livelihood, and improve their consciousness of working hard and studying hard to revitalize China. This work is mainly the responsibility of the political group. Purpose: Pay attention to current events, broaden horizons, establish a sense of responsibility and cultivate a rational spirit. Specific content: weekly major current affairs news is the mainstay, supplemented by current affairs comments. Content selection should be suitable for the healthy development of middle school students' body and mind and carry forward the main theme of the times. When commenting, it must be strictly examined by the teaching teacher before it can be implemented, so as to avoid guiding errors and scientific errors.

(4) Hold reading meetings from time to time. Actively publicize among students, and actively encourage each class to organize a reading club in the form of drama, book review, speech, a favorite book and a sentence that deeply touches them. Classes that apply for organizing a reading club can publicize it to the whole school on the radio and mobilize as many other classes as possible to participate in their own reading club.
