Professor Liu Kuili, member of the Honorary Department of China Academy of Social Sciences and deputy director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Expert Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, believes that the intangible cultural heritage poverty alleviation is a creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture, which is to "open up our own life according to the rules of the ancients" and make the most basic cultural genes of the Chinese nation adapt to contemporary culture, coordinate with modern society and fit in with the strategic goal of poverty alleviation.
