The national anti-trafficking action plan has laid a good foundation for multi-department cooperation. All member units of the joint meeting must compare their work. Division of labor, clear goals, improve measures, implement responsibilities, pay close attention to implementation, and promote the in-depth development of anti-trafficking work.

On January 1, 2008, the "China Action Plan Against Trafficking in Women and Children" was implemented. This action plan involves 28 ministries and commissions, covering prevention, combat, victim assistance, repatriation and rehabilitation, international cooperation, etc. All areas of anti-trafficking work. In accordance with the action plan, an inter-ministerial joint meeting system for anti-trafficking in women and children was established, with the Ministry of Public Security as the leading unit.
