Development prospect of tire pressure monitoring system

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has become a research hotspot in China automotive electronics industry. In the next five years, it is estimated that there will be 7,654,380+million tires in the world that need to be equipped with tire pressure monitoring sensors. American law requires that all passenger cars and light trucks sold in the United States from August 2007 must be equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems, and Europe has also promulgated corresponding regulations. China is a big consumer of automobiles, and I believe the government will formulate similar laws and regulations in the near future. The demand of TPMS makes a new industry rise.

Cars like Corvette, BMW, finidi, Volvo, Chevrolet, Nissan, Audi, Cadillac, Volkswagen, Kia, Subaru, Isuzu, Mazda, Ford, Porsche, Hyundai, SAAB, Buick Buick Buick, Toyota, Land Rover, Lexus, etc. all adopt the tire pressure monitoring system TPMS, which installs tire pressure sensors on four wheels to directly sense and monitor the tire pressure. This method is much more advanced and sensitive.

At present, the tire pressure monitoring system still needs to be improved. For the indirect system, it can't show that coaxial or more than two tires are deflated; When the vehicle speed is above 100 km/h, the monitoring fails. For the direct system, the stability and reliability of wireless signal transmission, the service life of the sensor, the accuracy of alarm prompt (there is no false alarm or false alarm) and the pressure resistance of the sensor need to be improved urgently.
