After the "Cultural Revolution", the culture flourished and the name of the Experimental Middle School was decided.

In October 1976, the ten-year Cultural Revolution ended. With the progress of the work of bringing order to the chaos, Mr. Yang Minggu's previous labels of "Three Family Village", "Anti-military Underworld" and "Soviet Revisionist Agent" disappeared one by one, and his cultural quality and work ability were regained. acceptance and recognition by the people. In the second half of 1977, he was promoted to deputy teaching director of Dunhua No. 1 Middle School, and at the end of the year he was elected as a representative of the Fifth People's Congress of Jilin Province. At this time, the clarion call for reform and opening up had been sounded across the country, but national construction was facing the dilemma of talent shortage. Therefore, Dunhua began to consider the selection of key middle schools, and among the many existing middle schools, Dunhua No. 1 Middle School was the one with the highest demand.

One day after the Spring Festival in 1978, Sun Zhonghui, director of the county teaching and research office, found Yang Minggu who had attended the Fifth People's Congress of Jilin Province and told him about the establishment of a key middle school. It turned out that while he was attending a meeting outside, the county had decided to re-establish a key middle school, named Dunhua No. 1 Middle School, and change Dunhua No. 1 Middle School to Dunhua No. 6 Middle School. There are two reasons for this. First, the No. 1 Middle School is too big, with more than 3,000 students, and it is difficult for the entire school to become a focus. Second, Dunhua No. 1 Middle School is very famous in the province, so the county wants to use this brand.

In this regard, Yang Minggu once put forward his own different views. He felt that the name of No. 1 Middle School should not be used, but should be called Aodong Middle School. But it ultimately failed to pass review. However, what happened next proved his conclusion. After using the name "Dunhua No. 1 Middle School", many people said that it was Sun Zhonghui who took away the school sign of No. 1 Middle School. This incident aroused public opinion and the anger of teachers and students of No. 1 Middle School. No. 1 Middle School went around and put up big-character posters on the streets, trying to get the school's name back. After a while, taking into account social pressure and other factors, the "Dunhua No. 1 Middle School" brand was returned to the No. 1 Middle School. The newly built key middle school was renamed Dunhua Experimental Middle School, and this name has been used to this day.

The team of the experimental middle school is: Sun Zhonghui, director of the county teaching and research office, is the principal, Zhao Shuchun, the teacher training class director, is the vice principal, and Yang Minggu is the deputy The teaching director was soon promoted to director, and Hui Yanli was promoted to deputy teaching director. The principal of the school, Sun Zhonghui, is fully responsible for the work of the school, and the school is fully managed by the vice principal, Zhao Shuchun. In Sun's words: "I am Shuchun, and Shuchun is me." Because Yang Minggu has the title of Provincial People's Representative, it is convenient for him to go to the county to do things, so he is responsible for traveling to the county. In addition, because some teachers were absent from class due to illness and had to plug holes, Yang Minggu would also give some lessons to the students at any time. Although the borrowed school building is located in the center, it has few classrooms and a small playground. Accommodation is particularly difficult, with only 40 centimeters per person. wide bunks, building a new school building became the most urgent task. At that time, Yang Minggu traveled to the county every day, and Mu Qinglin, deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee, was in charge of education, so Yang Minggu got involved with him. The deputy director proposed that a new school site be built at Niu Ma Society, east of the original staff hospital. But because its area was only a little over one hectare, it was rejected by Yang Minggu. He also proposed a site near the West Airport, but this was rejected because it was too remote. Later, the two chose the front yard of the Agricultural College. At that time, the person in charge of the school was very hesitant, fearing that it would affect their development. But the county agreed and left it at that. This is the site of the Experimental Middle School today.

The construction of the new school building began, and Yang Minggu went to help with the materials collection. At that time, everything was in a seller's market, and building materials were in short supply. Steel bars and cement were particularly difficult, so negotiations had to be made everywhere. While the school building was under construction, another problem arose in the second semester of 1978. Enrolling in a normal school, I want to go back to my own place. Since the school building was originally borrowed from the Normal School by the County Education Bureau, and they asked for it back, the Education Bureau had nothing to say. In desperation, the Experimental Middle School was moved to the No. 3 Middle School and shared teaching with the No. 3 Middle School in a bungalow on the north side of the teaching building. The school leaders had no choice but to move all the teachers and students. The two schools are together, and the classrooms are crowded and the lighting is poor, so students cannot study independently.

The two principals were at their wits' end and the teachers were anxious. Yang Minggu saw this and was worried. So behind the back of the two principals, he wrote a letter in his own name to the county standing committee, with harsh words, criticizing the county committee for not paying attention to education and messing around. Each of the nine members of the Standing Committee has one copy. Yang Minggu said afterwards: "It seems a bit extreme now, but I didn't care much at the time." This letter really worked. The next day, County Party Secretary Zhang Jinfa personally visited the school to inspect. Subsequently, the school moved out for a week and was able to move back to its original location. The teachers and students of the school regained a spacious and bright teaching environment. However, in this matter, Yang Minggu became an unsung hero. After moving back to the original address, he did not mention writing letters to others.

At the end of 1978, the county's middle school mathematics competition was held. This was the first competition held after the Cultural Revolution, so it attracted special attention and seemed particularly important. A student from a remote county won third place, causing a sensation throughout the province. At the first taste of fruitful results, Yang Minggu spoke on behalf of the winning school at a conference attended by Song Zhenting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Revolutionary Committee, and served as a member of the presidium.

In the 1979 college entrance examination, the experimental middle school scored very well. The first shot was launched and attracted the attention of the society.

At that time, the school had to have school-run factories and study fields. By 1980, these two tasks were completed due to Yang Minggu's efforts. The new building was built, all the teachers were invited, and all the school work was ready. The running of the school began to become more formal and formal. However, at this time, Yang Minggu chose to retire after his success. According to him: "I have done all the things I should do. Therefore, in the second semester of 1980, under the arrangement of his superiors, Yang Minggu went to preside over the county's college entrance examination cram school. After school was over in 1981, he was transferred to the position of vice-principal of the Teacher Training School, but he did not take up the post. Later, he was directly loaned to the county committee to do party history work and consulting work.

Time flies. Thirty years have passed. Dunhua Experimental High School has been in its infancy.
