In response to the study of party history, the party history study research team of the Institute of Water Conservancy launched a seminar on watching red movies and reading red books. In the classroom, we watched red movies such as Heroes and Children, Shangganling and Sparkling Red Star. At the same time, everyone read a red classic book in their spare time, and finally introduced and recommended the books they read in the discussion. What impressed me most was Shangganling. The film Shangganling tells the story of a battle of volunteers against American imperialism on the Korean battlefield. In this battle, the eighth company has been fighting in the tunnel in the mountains for a month. Due to the blockade of the enemy, the troops were seriously short of water and the soldiers' lips were chapped. The team sent by the superior leader to deliver water, the players sacrificed one by one. In order to save their strength, the Eight Company soldiers had to go down the mountain to grab water. However, as soon as the soldiers filled the water, they were hit by stray bullets from the enemy. After that, the teacher sent someone to go through all kinds of hardships to send some radishes and specially gave the company commander two apples. Although the company commander was thirsty, he divided two apples into many pieces and gave them to every soldier in the company. I learned this text in primary school, and I know the general plot of the story, but when I saw the pictures in the movie, I was still very moved. In today's China, people's living standards are constantly improving, and we can't personally experience the hardships of our ancestors. However, the spirit of unity and mutual assistance of all the soldiers in Shangganling is still of great significance in our real life. ?

History is a serious textbook. Our party history is a vivid textbook describing the Chinese nation's coming out of the disaster and standing up. The party history records the course of new China from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong, and from one victory to another.
