How to be a good discipline inspection and supervision cadre

As the saying goes: "The key to the prosperity of a country, the rule of the country with talents and the prosperity of its cause lies in people." Facing the new situation and new tasks, we put forward newer and higher requirements for our discipline inspection and supervision organization, and also placed higher expectations on how the majority of discipline inspection and supervision cadres can carry out their work creatively. As a discipline inspection and supervision cadre, it is our duty to defend our country. We must be loyal to our duties, do our jobs well, love our jobs and do our jobs well. So what? I think we should work hard in five aspects: First, we should strengthen the cultivation of party spirit. Law-abiding people must discipline themselves first, and educators must educate people first. Discipline inspection and supervision cadres should first take the cultivation and exercise of party spirit as a compulsory course for their whole lives, always strictly demand themselves according to the standards of leading cadres in party member, and take the lead in observing party constitution, instead of always posing as "inspectors" and "managers". Do what you ask others to do first, not what you ask others not to do first. Set an example by taking the lead. Second, we must keep pace with the times. Discipline inspection and supervision cadres bear the great trust of the party and the people and shoulder the arduous task of fighting corruption and promoting honesty. Therefore, as a discipline inspection and supervision cadre, we should seriously study the knowledge of political theory, professional knowledge, law, economy, science and technology, finance, etc., regard learning as a political responsibility, spiritual pursuit and life needs, persist in learning to build morality, learn to increase wisdom, apply what we have learned, constantly master new knowledge, grow new skills, reach a new realm, and keep pace with the times in our work. Third, we must unite sincerely. Gather talents, gather strength and shape image. Discipline inspection and supervision cadres must adhere to the style of stressing major issues and minor issues, and do not do anything or say anything that is not conducive to unity. When you get along with comrades and leaders, you must tell the truth to your face, speak well behind your back, and resolutely do not gossip or speak ill of others; We should make up for each other's shortcomings and mistakes, and make serious criticism and self-criticism from the desire of unity in order to achieve unity and harmony on the basis of correct principles. Fourth, we must be strict with ourselves. Correct yourself first, you need to be hard while the iron is hot. As supervisors, discipline inspection and supervision cadres can only convince themselves and establish their prestige if they are strict with themselves and do their duty. We should implement the word "strictness" in every process and detail of discipline inspection and supervision work and our own handling of people, consciously restrain and supervise ourselves with party discipline and state law, always be strict with ourselves, always cultivate the virtue of politics, always think about the harm of greed, and always keep the foundation of being a good person. Focus on the overall situation, start with small things, beware of procrastination, stay alert, don't think about things you shouldn't think about, eat things you shouldn't eat, take things you shouldn't take, go places you shouldn't go, and make friends you shouldn't make. Always maintain the style of hard work, modesty and prudence, be neither arrogant nor impetuous, work with high standards, live with low requirements, be indifferent to fame and fortune, resist temptation, faithfully perform their duties, and be honest and clean. Fifth, we must work hard. Discipline inspection and supervision cadres should keep in mind the party's purpose, be concerned about the people, be good at seeking welfare for the people, always think about the strategy of facilitating the people and benefiting the people, do more things to benefit the people, put the work in the first place, vigorously carry forward the wind of seeking truth and being pragmatic, persist in paying attention to reality, telling the truth, doing practical things and seeking practical results, and do all the work in a down-to-earth manner. Insist on going deep into the front line, the masses and the grassroots, effectively solve the problem of "for whom to discipline and serve", and truly shoulder the lofty mission and glorious duty of anti-corruption work.
