What font is the slogan on Tiananmen Square?

These two huge slogans on the Tiananmen Gate are written in solemn and generous Songti calligraphy, each word is 2 meters square. With its prominent position and long preservation time, it is considered as a model of Songti calligraphy.

The author of these two huge slogans is Zhong Ling. Zhong Ling (192 1-2007), alias today, is a famous contemporary calligrapher, artist, filmmaker and cartoonist, and one of the designers of the emblem of China People's Political Consultative Conference and the national emblem of China.

When Zhong Ling 17 years old, he studied in the Fine Arts Department of Luxun College of Literature. After graduation, he stayed in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region to engage in cultural and educational work. In Yan 'an, Zhong Ling's beautiful calligraphy is almost a household name. He also published woodcuts and cartoons in various newspapers in Yan 'an.
