In fact, the speed of tidal bore in Qianjiang River is too fast, and the danger often happens at the moment when people haven't reacted.

The speed of the tide is equivalent to the world record of 100 meter running. A set of data: the tidal level in Qian Jiangchao is generally1-2m, and the maximum is 3m. When the tidal bore advances, it will hit a huge wave as high as 10 meter due to the blocking of T-shaped dam and concave bank. The speed of advancing from downstream to upstream is about 20 kilometers per hour, which is vast and sweeping. At the fastest speed, it can reach 10 meter per second, which is equivalent to the world record speed of 100 meter, while ordinary people only run 6-8 meters per second.

In the past, the public still had a misunderstanding about the tides sweeping human beings, thinking that only "tidal bore" swept human beings, but in fact, the tidal water in Qiantang River is extremely dangerous, whether it is tidal or tidal.
