The tradition of meat festival

1. During the festival, the mosque should be cleaned, hung with banners and colored lights, celebrate the Minji Festival, and post couplets praising God.

2. Every household should be cleaned, adult men should bathe themselves, children should wash their faces, and men, women and children should wear national costumes.

At about eight o'clock in the morning (in some places, it is subject to ringing the ceremony bell), people gather in the mosque to hold the ceremony.

When the imam announced the start of the ceremony, people automatically knelt in a neat row and prayed to the ancient Kaaba in Mecca. After the service, people all say hello to the imam, and then exchange greetings of "peace, harmony and tranquility".

5. After the ceremony, the imam or his family members will go to the cemetery to pray for the deceased.

6. Then visit relatives and friends to celebrate the festival. During the festival, every household has prepared traditional foods with strong ethnic flavor, such as prickly heat, sesame oil, flowers, flowers, etc., and at the same time slaughtered sheep, chickens and rabbits to make bean jelly and stew. And send greetings to relatives, friends and neighbors.
