Decision of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial People's Congress on Amending the "Yunnan Provincial Regulations on Rewarding and Protecting Persons Who Serve as Heroes" (2021)

1. Amend Article 1 to read: “In order to cultivate and practice the core socialist values, promote righteousness, encourage courageous acts of justice, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of those who act bravely, in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, combined with this province’s In practice, these regulations are formulated." 2. " 7. Delete. Go to Article 23 "If the matter is not handled within the time limit, a 'Supervision Notice' will be issued." 8. The following modifications are made to some articles:

(1) In Article 6, “public security, civil affairs, judicial administration, human resources and social security, housing and urban-rural development, education, health, finance and other relevant departments” " was revised to "public security, civil affairs, judicial administration, human resources and social security, housing and urban-rural development, education, health, veterans, emergency management, finance and other relevant departments", and "culture" was revised to "culture and tourism".

(2) Article 9, Article 10, Article 12, Article 13, Article 19, Article 23, Article 25, and Article 26 , "Social Management Comprehensive Management Department" in Article 27 is changed to "Bravely working agency".

(3) "Civil affairs and safety supervision" in Articles 9 and 24 are changed to "emergency management".

(4) The “human resources and social security department” in Article 18 is changed to the “civil service department or the human resources and social security department”.

(5) The "civil affairs department" in Article 19 is changed to the "department in charge of retired military affairs".

(6) The "social management comprehensive management department" in Article 24 is changed to the "superior competent department".

(7) The "health administrative department" in Article 29 is changed to the "health administrative department".

(8) Delete “or the comprehensive social management department” in Article 30.

This decision shall come into effect from the date of promulgation.

The "Yunnan Province Regulations on Rewarding and Protecting Persons Who Serve a Righteous Person" will be revised accordingly and re-announced in accordance with this decision.
