(3) High cost: The cost of cold chain logistics is much higher than the investment in normal temperature logistics. First, equipment costs are high. The cost of cold chain logistics center warehouses and cold chain vehicles is generally several times that of normal temperature warehouses and vehicles, and special facilities and equipment are required for food, etc., which requires a large amount of capital investment; secondly, cold chain logistics The operating cost is high. Cold storage requires continuous cooling to ensure that the temperature is constant, causing the electricity cost of the cold storage to remain high. Refrigerated trucks also need continuous cooling to ensure that the temperature of the products is constant, which requires more fuel costs. . The capital recovery period of cold chain logistics is long and cannot be afforded by ordinary enterprises.
