According to the official website of the People's Republic of China and the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, the "three regulations" generally refer to the "Regulations on Records, Notifications and Accountability of Leading Cadres Intervening in Judicial Activities and Intervening in the Handling of Specific Cases" and " "Regulations on the Recording and Accountability of Cases Intervened by Internal Personnel of Judicial Organs" and "Several Provisions on Further Regulating the Contact and Interaction between Judicial Personnel and Litigants, Lawyers, Persons with Special Relationships, and Intermediary Organizations". In 2015, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, the General Office of the State Council, the Political Commissar of the CPC Central Committee, and the “five ministries and commissions” successively issued the above three regulations, establishing a system for the people’s courts to prevent internal and external personnel from interfering in the judiciary, using cases for personal gain, and transferring interests, leaving traces throughout the process and pursuing accountability according to law.
