How to make reading notes depends on your needs, because there are many ways to make reading notes, such as directly marking the main points in the book, making reading summaries and feelings in the form of cards, combing the main contents of the book and writing feelings in the form of articles or mind maps, and so on.

Many people have the habit of sketching important content when reading, which is a good habit. However, due to the lack of purpose and confusing marks, the structure of the book is full of lines or marks, which is particularly confusing.

Therefore, sketch should also pay attention to methods: ① First, determine the reading goal. Before reading, I want to know why I want to read this book, what my goal is, whether to answer a question or find a way, and so on. Targeted reading can quickly find useful content in the book and take notes quickly. (2) Then determine a set of your own labels. Secondly, we should know how to read quickly. Our time and energy are limited, and for most books, the important content usually accounts for only about 20% of the whole book, so we should learn to read at different speeds, not at the same speed. Like me, I usually read the whole book or some chapters at a speed of about 2000 words per minute (learned by "elite speed reading and memory training"). In the process of reading, I will find places that I am interested in, places that are important to me, or places that I can't understand, and then slow down a little. Or simply mark these contents quickly and read them again or intensively. If you can't read quickly, I suggest you don't read slowly word by word, which will not only slow down your reading speed, but also make your understanding low. Try to speed yourself up.
