If everyone does his part, the number of irregular words will be greatly reduced.

5. Warn the shop language that is not standardized enough, and impose appropriate punishment on those who refuse to mend their ways.

1. The correct and standardized use of street language in the city directly reflects the cultural taste of the city. Some traditional Chinese characters, variant Chinese characters and simplified Chinese characters that have been eliminated are still used frequently, which leads to jokes. Typos, variant characters and broken characters not only damage the image of the city, but also mislead primary and secondary school students. Many students suffer from street typos, such as "blue ball". Not only on the street, but also on TV, there are many other words, and some business advertisements deliberately create ideas with homophones, and come up with something like "endless riding" and "beauty of eating whole foods", which greatly misleads children and affects their mastery of correct knowledge.

2. Standard characters must be used for public facilities, signboards, advertisements and enterprise names. In some special occasions, if books, calligraphy works, registered trademarks, publicity to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, etc. related to ancient Chinese, classical literature, history, archaeology and ancient philology are used. Traditional Chinese characters are protected as cultural heritage and allowed to exist in certain fields and specific areas.

Third, city managers should strengthen the supervision and management of street language, and correct the missing and damaged words as soon as possible. At the same time, businesses should also be self-disciplined and try to put an end to the use of typos and nonstandard words.

4. On January 1, 21, China promulgated and implemented the National Law on Common Language and Characters, which clearly stipulated that the facilities, signboards and advertising characters in urban public places violated the relevant provisions of this law and the relevant administrative departments shall order them to make corrections; Those who refuse to make corrections shall be given a warning and urged to make corrections within a time limit. It is suggested that relevant departments jointly carry out special rectification activities, organize teachers and students in primary and secondary schools within their jurisdiction to carry out "Woodpecker" action, and conduct a general survey and registration of irregular social characters such as traditional Chinese characters, typos, variant characters and incomplete glyphs in the main streets and sections of our city, especially for the characters used in doorplates, billboards and slogans, unit name plates, store name plates, signs, publicity posters, and windows. Among them, the main nonstandard words are concentrated on traditional Chinese characters and typos. Shops that use irregular words immediately correct themselves; Without rectification, the municipal, district education, industry and commerce, urban management departments jointly issued a notice to be ordered to make corrections within a time limit; If it fails to make corrections within the time limit, it shall be punished according to the Law of the State on Common Languages and other relevant laws and regulations.
