Yang Sheng'an was a writer of the Ming Dynasty and a native of Xindu, Sichuan. When he was five or six years old, he was very diligent and intelligent, and was praised by his blind daters.

Once, he was bathing in a weir pond in his hometown of Shikang County (now Xindu County, Sichuan). The Shikang County Magistrate happened to pass by the weir and saw that Yang Sheng'an did not avoid it. He immediately became furious and wanted to send someone to beat him up, but Yang Sheng'an refused to go ashore. The county magistrate came up with a trick and asked his followers to hang his clothes on an old tree on the roadside. He said, "I will give you a couplet - 'A thousand-year-old tree is a clothes hanger.' If you do well, I will return your clothes." Pants." Yang Sheng'an didn't wait for the county magistrate to finish his words, and then read out the second line in the weir. When the county magistrate heard this, he had his clothes taken off the tree, returned to Yang Sheng'an, and invited him to the county government as a guest.

Since then, Yang Sheng'an has been known as the "Little Prodigy", and local farmers also named the weir where he bathed "Wawa Weir".
