Is Yinchuan Plain a Frontier Plain?

There are two plains in Yi * * in Ningxia: Yinchuan Plain and Ninglang Plain. Since Qin and Han Dynasties, Yinchuan Plain has been extensively irrigated with Yellow River water. After thousands of years of transformation, an excellent agricultural planting area in Yinchuan Plain has been formed. The terrain here is open and flat, and it is rich in rice and fruit. In particular, the rice produced locally has always been a tribute of the imperial court and is now one of the national commodity grain bases. Because it belonged to the frontier area in ancient times, commonly known as the Great Wall, and because there are many lakes, a land of plenty and many immigrants from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, it has formed a unique regional cultural color over time, and is called the Yangtze River.

It is not an exaggeration to say that it is bounded by the plain, but it contains a broader concept, including Yinchuan Plain in Ningxia, Weining Plain in He Lin, Inner Mongolia and Hetao Plain, because in ancient times, this area was collectively called the frontier.
