Which city does Wuhe County belong to?

Wuhe County belongs to Bengbu City, Anhui Province.

Located in the north of Anhui Province, the middle and lower reaches of Huaihe River. Wuhe County is named after the confluence of Huai, Yue, Yi, Tong and Tuo rivers. Wuhe County has a long history, a famous rainbow in the Tang Dynasty with a history of thousands of years. In China, the most complete ancient diamond-shaped tooth fossils of Huaihe River have been unearthed100000 years ago, and there are many stone age sites. The ancient charm of Bawang City, Huangdun Temple, Hanwangtai and Miss Yan's tomb still exists.

Wuhe County is named after the confluence of Huai, Yue, Yi, Tong and Tuo rivers in ancient times, and it is a water country. There are four major water systems, namely Huaihe River, Huaihong New River, Tuohe River (Lake) and Days Mirror Lake, which can be called a land of abundance.

The names of many towns and villages in Wuhe County have common characters, most of which are related to water. Their significance is related to the original origin and formation of the village, which records clear historical and cultural information. Only by trying to find out the deep meaning behind the name and knowing why can we remember the hardships of our predecessors in building their homes.

1. Taiwan Province, Gao Tai, Chen Tai, Taiwan Province and Taiwan Province. In the villages named after Taiwan Province on both sides of Huaihe River, ancestors borrowed soil to build high platforms and houses to live in, so as to avoid being flooded when the flood came. A surname lives in a compact community, so this station was named after the surname for a long time. When I was a child, there was a pond not far from my home, which was a place for bathing, fishing and playing, and was left by borrowing soil to build a platform.

2. Lakes, longtan lake, Penghu and Liu Hu. In ancient times, there were more lakes and marshes than today. Huaihe River is called external water and Huihe River is called internal water. At that time, there were no big dams now. When the water level rises, the mixed sediment of internal and external water washes away each other, and the lake gradually silts up, becoming a fertile field, which is then suitable for living and building villages. So Wuhe dialect calls working in farmland "going to the lake", and naturally names the village "lake".

The third is Wei,,, and so on. Jianghuai idle water is higher than the field, and the water is called Wei. This place named Wei is low-lying, and earth dikes are built around the village to resist floods. The village is named after the size or surname of the market.

4. Mouth (mouth), high mouth, horse mouth, closed mouth, etc. A place or village surrounded by water on three sides formed by nature is called Zui. I think this village with the name of five rivers was a large piece of land extending in rivers and lakes in ancient times.
