In addition to "Mandarin", Puxian dialect is also called Xinghua dialect, and the local dialect is also called Wuqiu dialect. Because there are troops stationed in Taiwan Province province all the year round, many residents are familiar with Minnan dialect in Taiwan Province. The electricity on the island is entirely provided by generators, and there is no running water.
