Shenyang has a population of 9.07 million.

The results of the seventh national census show that in 2020, the permanent population of Shenyang will reach 9.07 million, an increase of 964,000 compared with the sixth national census of 20 10, with an increase of1.89% and an average annual growth of1.1.

The proportion of Shenyang's total population in the national population will increase from 0.6 1% in 20 10 to 0.64% in 2020, and the proportion of Shenyang's total population in the whole province will increase from 18.53% to 2 1.30%.
